It would be his MANAGERS responsibility to press me into making that deal.
You and I are saying the same thing. You just will not say,"Yes Dunn, you are right", for whatever reasons.

You wouldn't have advised Wilder to take the deal. I ask again, why don't we use this as an opportunity to educate other posters as to why you'd have made the same decision Haymon did with regard to this offer.

The ironic thing about this is his fight by fight 'promoter' was the one that was actually exploring ALL opportunities on his behalf with a neutral hat on...and the manager (promoter? Whatever the ****) is the one who has a vested interest in him not exploring that opportunity

come on man. Now you have transgressed from just being wrong to being insane......
who is to say it cant go to the cards...with AJ being knocked down 2-3x like with fury?

i don't care how bad of a "boxer" you think wilder is....the judge factor is always going to be in the back of someones mind before a fight

when do you ever want to put yourself at a disadvantage even if the outcome is unlikely?

because we all know that if Wilder hits AJ clean on the chin, AJ aint getting up until next week.

That is because the manager realized DiBella making the deal wasn't in Wilder's best long term interest.

i like terry...i think hes a good guy...but he hates anything and everything that involves haymon...he will rarely say anything positive about anyone involved with them...and if it he does its backhanded or a morsel....he never has anything good to say about them...haymon put a lot of his friends out of business....i get it.....but at a certain point you have to get over that and see things objectively

hahaha..ok but what if they aren't clean on the chin shots?

i agree..if he hits AJ flush on the jaw/mouth...AJ is dead.....but i mean....that's no guarantee either

I have answered every question directly. The least you could do is the same thing.
Have you lost your mind? I never altered anything.

                  Here were your points:

                  1. Wilder fighting on another platform is bad because the judges are automatically biased for the other promoter/network

                  2. Wilder should not sacrifice winning for money.

Those were YOUR points. The logical conclusion to be drawn is that you see a scenario where Wilder would outbox AJ but get jobbed on the cards. And that is an ABSURD premise......

I think it has all become very clear what has been going on, especially considering revelations this week about Haymon and PBC practices and Big Dunn feels it necessary to try to defend the PBC and Wilder to the hilt and at this point in time that is a very big ask so he has to resort to desperate measures which leads to ridiculous narratives that to most Boxing fans seem insane, but he isnt insane, he knows hes talking bollocks.
There is nothing to defend. You quoted someone who was once a legitimate boxing promoter who has twice admitted they would have rejected the deal same as Haymon did.

Now what narrative are you talking about because at no point did I post anything about it going to the cards.

I am seeing it objectively, because FACTS dont lie. I point out the legal distinctions between MANAGERS and PROMOTERS, but people like Dunn dont care. It doesnt matter to them. Haymon is acting in his own interests first, which is just fine if you are a promoter. When you are a manager, ehhhh, then its not so good.

The wacky thing is that everyone agrees that Haymon wont let Wilder fight on DAZN, regardless of the money. And they see no problem with that whatsoever. But man if Hearn, or Arum, or someone else who has no fiduciary duty does the same thing, they lose their minds............
