  • Maybe. I will wait for the post fight drug tests before I say yes.

  • Can’t see anything bad here.

Turkish is putting together strong cards, which if you noticed forced PBC to do same this past Saturday.
He keeps doing that and forces the competition to step up- better for us as fans.

Just hopes he forces Canelo to fight Benavidez....

  • You’ve been around long enough and are smart enough to know that isn’t a valid argument.

Also, can we stop with the he fought fighter X or Y so that is why he will win. The fight would be at 135 so I am not sure who wins.

This is the logic people used against Floyd...

Yeah I saw this last night.

Whether grease or not I still think he was being honest. I just still think he didn’t get how soft he came off with that excuse....

  • No it didn’t.

He just put 19k in Barclays. We don’t know the PPV sales yet.

You on another alt after getting banned for racist posts yet again I see.

    Go away....

Hopefully they all happen so we don’t have to read about Inoue ducking Ahk any more....

  • I think you get it more than you admit, which is why you keep pivoting to individual criticisms and not the point I made like Dan did.

You co-signed what Dan posted on which tells me you understand clearly. You ain’t an idiot.

Come on dude. Stop it. That is literally...

Unjust is a bit strong. It’s subjective. I think we as fans also carry biases into every fight we watch. When the outcome isn’t the one you wanted, fans go right to conspiracies and negativity.

That isn’t saying there is no corruption or terrible robberies because there surely is....

  • You’re still avoiding the point I made. Dan gets it.

It’s absurd to use the same, “He didn’t fight anyone criticism “ with all undefeated boxers of one group when their resumes are completely different.

There is no way Tank, Floyd, Roy, Crawford...

  • Yea Dan that is the point. It’s absurd. Yet it’s the same thing over and over just because they haven’t lost to that point....

    You sure? Very weird perspective

That was a great fight that many people will want to see a rematch.

Yes, the ref blew it and cost Roach a title. The controversy made big news that will make the rematch even bigger.

I do not think this hurt the sport as much as...

  • Again you’re purposely not addressing the point I made in the initial post.

It was different with GGG because he was also undefeated, which I believe I indicated in my first response to you.

I also stated, which you also ignored, is bumlovkin was applied just to him,...

  • It’s like you’re avoiding the point I am making. I don’t quite understand why.

Again those are not repetitive criticisms applied to multiple boxers like Loma. I don’t see why you keep dancing around that point.

I am fine with fair criticism. What is...

  • I think my point is clearly stated. I am not talking about criticisms, I am discussing the same ones being used for certain fighters.

I was saying the poster came up with that name. You are correct it was used often.

But no one used bumloma or bumkovalev.

    Can you...

  • Only by Canelo fans was the loss celebrated. I am no GGG fan and I defended that BS draw and the 2nd bad decision, as did others I know that don’t like him did.

Yeah he was called bumlovkin by a poster that was very critical of his resume. I thought that was funny tbh.

  • Ok underestimating him is not a big issue. Human nature.

The bigger issue for me is those that lowered him solely because they hate Tank.

My other issue is saying this kind of fight is “uninteresting “. Since when is a 25-1-1 champion moving up to fight an undefeated...

  • Not on this site-no.

Loma lost his 2nd fight so people just clowned him for losing. GGG, yes, his resume was constantly questioned on the come up. There isn’t a pattern here that goes back as far.

I think people defended GGG when he got that loss to Canelo. I did. It...

  • I think he is absolutely correct.

We’ve seen this before with high profile boxers like him that keep winning, regardless of their out of ring behavior.

Those of you old enough should remember that going into the Duran fight there were plenty of comments about SRL, who...
