There was probably no such thing as a perfectly clean Negro fighter in the 1910s. (I.e. The game as it was played force them to at times be crooked.)

But they say 'understandings' were common.

We do know that Burley and Williams got sent to the showers for being non combative in one of their mutiple meetings.

Jack Johnson won his last fight by casting a Voodoo curse on his opponent and then they both tried to collect their purse.
I doubt all the series of fights between the black trio were fought on their merits

Love this list. I think Hagler is way too high. Manny should be on the list. Over all a very good list which means you done your homework.

I actually have spoken to 2 men on my list, Willie Pep and Evander Holyfield. Back in the 1980s there was a radio sports talk show on WABC-AM in New York City hosted by Art Rust jr. I often called into the show to comment on boxing. Art Rust was was a very knowledgeable and classy older gentleman and would recount his experiences watching a prime welterweight Sugar Ray Robinson and Joe Louis fight back in the 1940s. His father took him to Madison Square Garden on numerous occasions. In addition to Pep and Holyfield, I also had the pleasure of speaking to Ray (Boom Boom) Mancini and Bobby Czyz on the show. I wish that a program of that nature existed today.

Rust Jr. also wrote a great biography about Joe Louis.

I got to meet Willie Pep at some fights at Foxwoods casino back in the late 90's. What a gentleman. Super nice guy.
