Roy Jones fought a policeman and guy that worked on a trash truck full time. He was fighting part time fighters that should never have gotten a title fight. I've been a boxing fan for 60 years. Nonito Donaire was a very good fighter. But not the best in the last 60 years. I respectfully disagree my brother.
Roy Jones, Jr.'s resume : Hopkins, Toney,, Griffin II, Virgil Hill, Reggie Johnson, Ruiz, Tarver I - it's a great resume.

And no worries. Donaire, Jr.'s wins against Vic Darchinyan (112 lbs.), Fernando Montiel (118 lbs.), Nishioka (122 lbs.), Oubaali (118 lbs.) with some Ws at Featherweight is why I rate Donaire, Jr. so highly.

Keep in mind I'm also basing this list off eye-test for skills and who I think is superior is head-to-head (e.g. Naoya Inoue currently has a slightly better resume than Shakur Stevenson, but I think if they were the same size that Stevenson would beat Inoue).

        Fair points.

Toney, Monzon, Tyson, Lewis I would leave out.

Griffith, Usyk and Foreman have an argument to be in.

Yeah, I don't find Monzon's skills or resume to be at this elite level.

Benvenuti I, Griffith I, Briscoe II, Valdes I & II are his best wins, which IMO is solid, but nothing that makes me go "WOW" - just a thumbs up.

And then with the eye test between Monzon and every one else I had in my original 20 or Usyk, IMO Monzon falls short.

Monzon defended his title 14 times. Ducked no one. Fought the best fighters in the world. Monzon retired as champion. He retired at 35. His last loss was at age 22. When he won the title, I was 15. when he retired, I was 22. Monzon is either 2 or 3 greatest MW all-time on every list I've ever seen. I'm tore up now. We'll rap tomorrow.

I'm glad you have Duran is high. Lot of people forget he was lightweight champ for over six years.

Sorry I have to disagree with you. Archie Moore could not touch Ezzard Charles with multiple tries. He lost to essentially a junior middle in Charley Burley, again in multiple tries. To me you have seven people on your list I would not put there because of the choices you then have to ignore. Putting them in order seems like too much for anybody to have universal agreement, but I will try, friend.
