You bragging about being on disability????? Really now

Dig it in Vegas. Most boxing fan friendly place I've lived. I love going on the strip during a big fight week & seeing all the people with boxing shirts or hats on.
How's the cost of living (excluding ********) these days? I know it used to be pretty do-able.

          Oops, you right!

Some help kill people, blow stuff up, or get PTSD.

I'm in the Chinatown/Spring Mountain area which is a nice family-ish walkable type area & I'm paying similar to what I was paying in a nice family-ish walkable area in upstate NY where I used to live.

Vegas seems to have the whole spectrum of prices doe. There is the sketchy areas which are super cheap to Seven Hills where Floyd & all the rich cats live.

And I don't gamble at all. I used to play poker (which I don't even consider ******** honestly), but since I've been here the only ******** I've done is freeplay bs that casinos give you & I played a charity poker tournament I won a seat in back in December.

Good times looking back but the bad ones stay with you also.

I chose infantry because I was a dumb 18 year old (technically joined at 17, had to wait one year before I left for recruit training)
Speaking to my old coworkers, they all said that looking back at it, no one actually missed the marines or the sh#t that they had to do. They said the marines ******. What they actually missed was the brotherhood and the comradery. They all went through the sh#t together so they had that bond. They missed the people who they served with. A lot of them kept in touch after their service.

One of them said he would consider reinlisting not because he liked the marines, but he said so he could teach the new marines what to do because he already went through it. He didn’t want new marines making the same mistakes he made.

My parents just got back from vacation in Vegas. They lost money. My mom said she wants to retire there. She’d lose her retirement in a month.

Your kids too. My Dad's a Vietnam-era vet (Sat on the beach in Pear Harbor, lucky bastard), and I do all my banking, auto and home loans through Navy Federal.

Well if you want to use the "degrees of separation" argument then in could say I helped other marines kill other people who would intern kill innocent people.
Also I get free school and healthcare.
