You can't discuss pro boxing without taking money into consideration.
So, there is not " avoided killer " here, Golovkins resume is what it is.
Golovkin has the exact resume that he wanted, according to you.
I prefer real fighters who will take on a challenge.

Yes getting sued, like they have multiple times before in the past and in several cases lost. Very recently they had a legal case with Rubio, which he ultimately won and is why he was elevated back to mandatory which is why Golovkin fought him. They nearly went bankrupt involving Roy Jones.
Roy Jones said he was leaving the division and drop his title, so they had Graciano Rocchigiani fight Nunn for the #1 spot, Graciano Rocchigiani won. Roy Jones had a change of heart and decided he wasn't going to leave the division, so the WBC RE-WROTE THEIR RULES and made Jones #1 again. Rocchigiani sued the WBC and won $30,000,000, which almost destroyed the WBC who filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy the following day. They only exist to this day because they were able to settle with Rocchigiani outside of court for about $15-$20 million dollars.
So yes, rewriting their own rules can and has got them in major trouble. It's bizarre to know that you believe they are some untouchable entity given their lengthy history of legal troubles.
They flatly refused to give the Cotto/Canelo winner a catchweight.
And this is despite Canelo weighing 155 and Cotto weighing 153.
Golovkin demands a catchweight from Ward - despite being willing to fight Froch/Chavez at 168 - and he justified that demand by stating that he is the A-side..... then he totally refused to give Cotto/Canelo a catchweight, DESPITE them being the A-side.
During negotiation, it seems to be Golovkins way or the highway.
If you accept that, then you MUST accept his resume at face value.
It is impossible to make excuses for Golovkins resume if you accept and condone those ridiculous negotiating methods.
Golovkin really does appear to be a manufactured fighter.

Stop protecting your current girlfriend.
1) Ward knows Golovkin was willing to fight Froch/Chavez at 168
2) Ward cannot make 164
3) Golovkin knows that Ward cannot make 164, but he doesn't care
4) HeroBando knows that Ward cannot make 164, but he doesn't care
Who protects Golovkin while you sleep ?
If Ward can't make 164, then he should stop chasing an unproven MW and go fight someone his size. And not a journeyman, for a change
