between being the more famous fighter and moving up for the fight for it to make any sense golovkin should get at least 75%

hopefully they tell ward he can fight for free (his payment is the exposure)

ward should receive no financial rewards for ducking guys his size to fight tiny guys

Yeah, GGG is such a coward. Won't even fight an older man who happens to be a light heavyweight.

Ward is also such a ***** because he won't fight Wilder.

But these same people dumped all over GGG for daring to challenge Mayweather at 154 and be willing to actually drop DOWN in weight to fight him in his own division.

time for Ward to fight a quality fighter his own size for a change. No catchweights, no bums like Paul Smith. I will even give him a bit of a pass and let him take on Martin Murray, someone Golovkin already beat. But unfortunately for Ward, he would have to leave the US to do that so we know that that idea is a non starter.

Whatever way you look at it, it is time for Ward to get on with his career and stop waiting for a middleweight to move up and fight him.

Why doesn't Ward do something to deserve the fight instead of depending on wins from FOUR YEARS AGO?

People love to blame K2 and GGG, but what has Ward done to deserve this fight? NOT A DAMN THING.
You are speaking far too much logic for these cats to understand. Your reasoning based arguments will have them spinning and bending into pretzels trying to figure out a riposte.

They will resort into name calling soon.

Deductive reasoning is highly liking here.

Ward must re-assert himself with quality fights at SM. Without this prep work, he has little leverage when dealing with Team Golovkin.

GGG lacks a deep resume, but he's a fan favorite whose popularity stems from a ring style that ALL DAY outsells .
Right, Ward fights are boring. He just doesn't have the base to make demands,

Guy is extremely unpopular even in america, when he is shown during a fight he usually gets booed by the audience.

Funny thing is that people here act like they are his fans, yet no one buys tickets or watches him on TV, ya'll seem like a bunch of liars and pretenders to me.
And why would anyone buy his fights, a hug fest with the bigger Ward hugging a smaller opponent.

          Signed at 168, come on.

First, the Froch/Chavez deal came before GGG made this PPV, and got the mandatory for Cotto/Canelo.

Two, Ward isn't a 168 fighter. He walks around at 180, and rehydrates to 185-190. GGG is smart for want to even the odds with Ward, especially since dude hugs all night. Ward will use his size, weight, and reach advantage to try to hold GGG all night.

GGG isn't gonna take that risk unless it makes them some cash.

That is as simple as it gets.

I want Ward vs GGG next year. Make it happen, Ward.
Maybe you should try telling Team GGG that.

They also turned down Ward's offer rather than make a counter, so I ask you again....What is Ward supposed to be countering here?

Remember, the offer conveniently came AFTER GGG-Lemieux was announced, and then GGG likely has Cotto-Canelo winner next, and then Lee to unify. So on what planet would anyone accept a 50-50 split not knowing the actual economics of a fight that is a year and a half away?

makes no sense, and Loeffler would have been an idiot to accept.....

Ward fans just hate GGG, they don't need logic of reasoning, the just need hyperbole and ad hominems.

See above post, Ward's offer was to shelf GGG for a year while Ward takes tune up fights. Ward's offer not only came after the PPV was good to go, he didn't even offer to fight, it was an offer to fight next fall

If GGG made that same offer, the haters would him. Come on.

                Ward fandom double standard.

Wards offer was to fight next fall. It wasn't an offer, it was a PR stunt.

And Cotto/Canelo, they can duck, but they will be vacating them belt. GGG will be getting the belt anyways. Then he has Lee, and he will have unified the division.

Then GGG could take whatever fight he feels like, what makes him the most money for his family.

That's what Ward is saying about Moving up to LHW, that he'll do what's best for his family.

But noooo, GGG shouldn't do that.

You "fight for glory" instead of "fight for money" fans have silly expectations. Why don't you go mop the floor for glory instead of money. Why do boxers gotta be all noble & ****? Its a silly ass unrealistic expectation put upon boxers by people who've never been hit in the head in most cases.

That said ABSOLUTELY GGG should be getting more than 50/50...right now let alone once he gots PPV numbers on his scoreboard & Ward doesn't. Right now GGG is seen as valuable enough to throw into a PPV fight & is getting a mill+ people watching his fights on HBO & Ward is fighting on BET for 300k or w/e number of fans. Thats where things stand even before GGG officially enters the PPV world. If you don't think GGG deserves more money I got some lakefront property on Mars I'd like to sell your momo ass.

Mayweather fight is my dream fight I will drop down to 154 for, that fight "

Funny yet GGG is the smaller man when it comes to Ward

                      "I'll fight anyone from 154 -168 "

                      GGG

                      Ward

“He’ll go to 168 against everybody but me,” Ward said in frustration. “The fact that the fans and the media don’t call him out on it, it’s mind-blowing. And I’m not making this up. You wanna fight (Julio Cesar) Chavez, the Chavez fight is getting close to being made, something happens, it doesn’t get made, and then all of a sudden, you know ‘Ward’s not a pay-per-view fighter.’

                      GGG hypocrisy right here !!
