Who did Wladimir Klitschko beat to become lineal champion?

How did Tyson Fury remain lineal champ after giving up his belts, handing in his boxing licence, and officially retiring?

Why did Usyk, when he was asked if the lineal title was important to him, say that he didn't...

"What is more important a hammer or a screw driver? The lineal is not "important" the same way a belt is important... You cannot substitute one for the other."

You are committing a type of logical fallacy known as a category error. Title belts exist, both physically...

Ah, now I get it. You were talking about the imaginary lineal title that PBC and Bob Arum told you was on the line in the Fury/Wilder trilogy, yeah?

"The only title that really matters".

The fabulous, prestigious, all important lineal crown. The crown that disappeared...

  • Usyk handled Dubois so easily first time around that he must be hot favourite in a rematch. DD's only chance is to come out swinging and hope he gets lucky or Usyk has gotten old, or a combination of both.

Not sure what you mean with this, but none of the Fury/Wilder fights were unifications, they were fighting for the WBC title alone. Wilder had no unification fights in his career and Fury had one, when he lost the WBC belt to Usyk....

Maybe I am underestimating Jon Jones. I don't follow MMA closely. My impression of Jones is...

  • Royce faced those guys under MMA rules, rather than no rules, and none of them could use their fists like Mike Tyson.

Up till to now I've been discussing a no rules fight between prime Mike Tyson, from the late 1980's, and Jon Jones, which I would make Tyson a strong favourite to win. Qualities...

  • I'm not sure about that, tbh. But it doesn't really matter. He couldn't tap me out in practice and if he'd tried doing the same things with me in a street fight as he did in the practice, let's just say it wouldn't have gone well for him.

Why do I say it doesn't matter what kind of Ju-Jitsu...

  • He said the same thing about Fury before the Usyk rematch. He was openly saying that Fury was his favourite and he wanted him to win. Usyk isn't a Muslim like Tank, he is a devout Christian who carries a crucifix into the ring and crosses himself before every round, but he still got a fair shake from...
