this camp i heard a lot of talk of not falling for floyds traps, taking away floyds right hand, not being open for floyds counters, blah blah....

stuff that is impossible to do.

floyd will never not land on pac.

gameplan should have been on how to get to mayweather even when he was landing and to force a rough, high pace fight.

you do not test floyds boxing ability. that's undeniable.

you try to test his stamina, toughness, heart and hope pac can.
Exactly, and that should have been the game plan. Especially considering Pacquiao hurt Mayweather on a few occasions.

Floyd rejected 5 mill penalty for the one who will fail the drug test

Floyd's team and Floyd fans said according to the contract a party could sue the offending side for a lot more than 5 mill.

          here are the questions:

          1. USADA releases random drug test results only after the fight is done and over with - if one is found positive what sort of damages/penalty would the other part sue them for?

          2. USADA releases random test results only after the fight is done and over with. how could you stop the fight if one fighter is found positive with banned substance?

          3. How long does it take to get the test result of a urine test and blood test?

          4. NSAC medical questionaire released - check, Score card released - check
more than 3 days now USADA random drug test result still nowhere to be
          found?

I could see the fight 4-2 as well. ... so it was either 4-2 or 3-3...the 118-110 judge probably had it 4-2..the other guys probably had it 3-3.

Ya know I was looking back at it, and many of the few punches manny did get in were counters.

              Examples:

Also remember this being posted in may/pac gif thread, where pac gets his left glove in front of the shot in time and goes for body shots but doesn't get anything before mayweather can grab him:

Perhaps instead of throwing right away he should have tried to back up.

Basically I'm wondering how the strategy should be, but as crazy as this is going to sound, and it is ****in crazy, maybe pac was not wrong to not think super offensively. Maybe defense was what worked at all. Those combos he threw didn't hit much or effect May.

On the other hand, Manny isn't exactly known for his ability to duck away from punches. Plus, I think it's hard to say that there even exists a gameplan at all that can reliably beat Mayweather.

Edit: Don't know if this is a 'counter' punch per se but

Pac didn't even hurt Floyd a little bit. The left hand counter in the 4th buzzed Floyd a little and the one he landed in the 6th Floyd took even better than the one in the 4th. Actually Manny's small but noticeable success with counters was pretty admirable. He's never been a solid counter puncher.

Look while I think Manny clearly lost, I definitely do not think that he 'didn't even hurt Floyd a little bit'. That left in the 4th definitely hurt Floyd. I really think against boxers that are not as defensively skilled as Floyd, Manny's follow up pressure could have resulted in a knockdown or at least some pretty bad punishment.

You know what hurt means? It means when a shot makes you buckle or leaves you slightly incoherent. A more apt term would be the shot buzzed Floyd. He was totally coherent and blocking Pac's shots on the ropes waiting for him to punch himself out. Which is exactly what happened.
