No Wilder/Fury fights not because she said it, but because WE already saw the rubber match live and she knows the ending. I COULD show her the first one and add the backstory of how Fury came back from the brink of suicide and depression and then the dramatic rise in the 12th, but given that the fight...

Jesus Christ…what a downer. I love the trivia, though. Some good posters in this section....JAB5239 likes this.

Nah. Been married for more than a decade. She made the suggestion of watching fights together because I started watching her favorite telenovela with her (and I’m enjoying it surprisingly…never watched one before). Lo and behold, here I am watching this like married couples watch series...Mr Mitts likes this.

Oh, no. I wasn’t intending to look at the result if recommended. That’s kinda like spoiling a movie oneself and then watching it. It’s just better going into it blindly....Willie Pep 229 likes this.

I like these in bold. I can’t vouch for the others but I’ll add them to my list and do my due diligence....

Foreman/Lyle lol I’m reminded of Teddy Atlas in the Fight Night video games: “It’s like the elevator fight, up and down all night!”
Gatti-Ward 1 is a good choice. Good consistent action, a knockdown, fight of the year, AND a round of the year to boot....billeau2 likes this.

Those aren’t bad at all. If she hadn’t seen Wilder/Fury 3, I would seriously be considering this one. There’s A LOT of history and backstory leading into that rubber match (or even the first fight for that matter).
Joe Louis/Max Schmeling has serious historical implications....Anomalocaris likes this.

Long story short, my spouse came up to me on Monday and said she wanted to get into the routine of us (me and her…not YOU guys) watching one boxing match per week chosen by me with...

Bud’s made his bones already. He’s looking to cash out and make his last stand. I would do the same thing in his shoes. He is on the very short list of elegible people to be a Canelo opponent....MulaKO likes this.

I happened to found last year in an interview with Bradley where he was talking about his career and how he met Bud the first time. Cameron Dunkin (Tim’s manager at the time) brought him a sparring partner and it was a young Crawford. Tim said in that interview that Bud wasn’t just sparring...STREET CLEANER dannnnn like this.
