As you said all night, Pac threw the heavier telling blows. And was the aggressor who pinned Floyd to the ropes over and over, that's ring general ship.

A draw or a win for Pac can easily be argued. The swing votes all went to the hometown boy.

Plus the running Floyd did on the 12. That round was obviously pac's.

    All that with one hand.
I can argue that Maidana, Oscar, Cotto, Hatton and Castillo all did better against Floyd then Pac did.

I can argue that Floyd is just on a higher skill level than Pac is.

Being the aggressor (following your opponent around and then getting check-left-hooked flush), is actually NOT part of the judging criteria. THAT is not arguable.

Running Doc: You don’t have to be a doctor to see that Manny Pacquiao’s shoulder injury limited him against Floyd Mayweather

a rotator cuff injury is serious and limiting for a fighter. The shoulder is a unique joint, it is not held together by ligaments, but it is held with the ball in the socket by the rotator cuff muscles and tendons that act like marionette strings pulling the ball up into the socket. The rotator cuff is made up of four muscles: Supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor, and subscapularis. If the rotator cuff muscles are loose or torn, motion is not efficient at the joint and is painful because other muscles get pinched with everything in motion. In order to decrease pain during rehabilitation, physicians prescribe motion no higher than parallel to the floor. Anything higher causes more pinching and more pain.

I think people just need to realize that most athletes have a different mentality than your average working joe. Players are never gonna tell you that they can't go, that's just their mindset. Athletes have a higher threshold of pain especially fighters who's in the hurt business.

Pacquiao was definitely injured, as the MRI confirmed. He couldn't fight to his ability as the number of punches thrown suggest. Credit to Floyd once more for showing his mastery in the box ring, but some of you guys are just laughable with these absurd speculations.

I can also argue that hugging is a skill too hahaha! Those 43 hugs made an impression. That's some high level skill right there.

Now that's a show stopper lol

Manny had Floyd's number, in terms of not falling for Floyd's traps and right hands. He took away his left jab to the head and body. He got hit with a few but Manny blocked Floyd's jab and he was ready to counter Floyd's left jab to the body. Floyd stopped throwing it after a few rounds. It was smart of him to do. He met his match in terms of reflexes and ring IQ on Saturday.

With your description of the fight, can you explain how Floyd managed to both throw and connect more then Manny did?

Floyd threw 6 more punches but connected 67 more times, per compubox.

            Explain pls.

What was your scorecard after 6 rounds?

I had it 3-3 after 6 rounds. I'm assuming the 2 judges who scored 116-112, probably had the same score. Lederman had it the same.

After that, Floyd pulled away. So the reinjured shoulder after round 4, may have played a role.

Now that shows pac's fighting style has caught up to him. The wear and tear of fighting came at the worst time, during the biggest super fight ever in the history of the sport.

And that is why I give Floyd props for waiting for Pac to deteriorate at the right time to nail him.

That said, with one hand. Pac made it as good as he was taking. To some he even won it and to others this was a draw.

And that's with one hand. Impressive.

I will say...that watching how Pac fought the first 3 rounds...I didn't think he would win the fight.

So injured or not, I don't think he would've beat Floyd with that gameplan.

Can't freakin box with him to win...he needs to pressure him.

                  _______________
However, he did have a really strong 4th round. So who knows how the injury affected him after that.

Do you guys think Manny is really injured?

I had it 4-2 for Manny after 6. I gave Floyd the 1st and 5th. I gave Manny 2, 3,4, and 6. He was the aggressor and trying to force the fight. They were even in punching at that point. Floyd's running and holding should've cost him. What you have to consider, is that Floyd couldn't hit Manny cleanly either. When he did land, they were single shots. When Manny landed they were combos. Effective combos, so who do you give those rounds to? The judges were blind as hell and paid off.
