Pac's left straight was the one making all the damages the whole night. Floyd had an answer to that though. Hugging 43 times and running for dear life for 12 rounds lol
Watch it again... Floyd was laser sharp with that right

No you watch this one instead, this super fight turned into a hugging contest. This is the hard truth.

I think a fight In 2009/2010 would have been pretty Interesting. One thing Is for certain, we wouldn't have seen a hesitant Pacquiao.

It's not the style. Pacquiao is just too small for Floyd. He could've definitely used an extra 5 inch reach. The gameplan was wrong too. Roach tried to teach Manny how to become a boxer overnight. It was ******.

In my basketball analogy, it's like asking Lebron in 2008, as great as he was to become a post player in one month. It ain't gonna happen.

Floyd completely nullified Manny's angles and made him fought at his pace. Pacquiao, his camp, and some of his fans should accept reality and the reality is, Mayweather is a better boxer than, Pacquiao. Floyd is in a class of his own. He knows how to systematically take away your best physical attributes inside the ring and break you down both mentally and physically. Five years ago, Manny was more reckless and Floyd actually sat down on his punches.

The fight could've lived up to its hype, but at 33 years old, Floyd was still a master of controlling distance and cutting off angles, had greater reflexes and lesser wear and tear on his hands and he would've beaten, Pacquiao back then and possibly via stoppage. Ironically, Bayless ended up being a more beneficial ref for Manny because he'd constantly and quickly broke them up and Floyd couldn't do his usual vet tactics when they were close to each other.

Floyd will never go down as the most must-watch ATG who always creates great action fights like the likes of, Roy Jones, Leonard, Chavez Sr, Duran, etc, but he'll probably go down as the guy who was the most effective at winning and in doing so at his own comfort zone. Floyd only uses what works for him. He basically schooled Manny without breaking a sweat and probably did so in first gear.

It's a shame it didn't come to fruition around that time. I'm not saying Pac would have won, but it might have been closer. Plus I think Roach has been slippin himself since then.

At the very least, he wouldn't have the memory of a collosal counter punch knockout lingering around. It's only conjecture of course, but I think that fight might have been the reason he has become a more hesitant fighter. The worst part of this fight was how in rds 11/12 we didn't see Pac putting caution aside. He may not have thought he needed a KO per se, but there is no way he thought he was cleanly ahead.

i think a lot of it is more roach than pac. remember 2011 jmm3?

roach had pac box jmm too.

this camp i heard a lot of talk of not falling for floyds traps, taking away floyds right hand, not being open for floyds counters, blah blah....

stuff that is impossible to do.

floyd will never not land on pac.

gameplan should have been on how to get to mayweather even when he was landing and to force a rough, high pace fight.

you do not test floyds boxing ability. that's undeniable.

you try to test his stamina, toughness, heart and hope pac can.
