No doubt...I spend hours and hours every day reviewing old footage and I still don't have a firm enough grasp to make a set in stone top 100 p4p list. I can give an estimate based on what I know, but I seriously doubt that most of the posters here can actually list 100 fighters, let alone the 100 best ever.

It seems to me that you're being serious. And, if you're then obviously you do not know really about the history of the sport. And, all the great fighters of the past.
Can we refrain from calling people with differing opinions ignorant please, you're not exactly the creme de la creme of boxing history either. Let's get off the high horse and have a friendly debate here.

Now, back to my point. I'm asking whether or not you're serious since you have PBF at around 50 while DLH is around 100 when DLH clearly has the better resume between the two of them.

No, Oscar does NOT clearly have the better resume between the 2.

Unless you count losses. Then fuck, journeymen should be in the top 100 ATG...

        WTF are we talking about?

Now back to my point, I'm asking whether or not you're serious. Because, if you're then is obvious you do not know enough about the history of the sport and all it's great fighters.

If Jro's not the creme de la creme of a boxing historian here, I don't know who is. Dude knows his stuff.

You honestly think PBF has a better resume than DLH? DLH has fought the best, win or lose, for pretty much his entire career. Resume's aren't only about wins, but the whole body of work.

Obviously, he must be counting losses. But, if that's the case then how many journeyman who lost to a bunch of great fighters should we put on the top 100 ATG list?

Losing (I mean honestly...) to Sweet Pea and beating up an old, alcocholic cokehead are better than Floyd's wins from SFW to JWW?

But he isn't the end all be all in boxing history. If you think he is then I suggest visiting places other than this message board. I'm not saying he doesn't know his stuff, it's just that he isn't the end all be all. Maybe I'm taking it out of proportions a bit, but that's how he came off to me. If you hadn't noticed, this whole 100 ATG list is subjective, and not one person in this message board including him can probably formulate his own with just the knowledge that he has and not doing further research.
