And you are going entirely too far in the other direction. Mayweather sits comfortably at a 25-50 spot, probably around 40. A win over Pacquiao (and that fight just isn't going to happen) would put him at about 20-25. If he had beaten Cotto and Margarito on top of Pacquiao, he could be at 15-20.

Beating Marg does nothing now for his legacy or resume. That ship has sailed, it would have done great 2-5 years ago. But, now? Nah beating him doesn't move Floyd up at all even with a win on top of Pac. And, is getting to the point where a win over Cotto does nothing either.

please explain the top ATG criteria, Floyd has a great resume, champion in his first 18 fights, this before all these young low record champ like.Gamboa, rigondueax, etc. You can't name a fighter with better boxing skills and talent. his last three wins were against top ten p4p boxers. Mosley, Hatton and Marquez who is still top en p4p, you can't say and think he ducked fighters, but come on, I can say that about any boxer. he is top 10 in my book. you gotta look at all time great on how the other boxers in the list stack up, and not just by resume.

If Pac beats Martinez at 147 should Pac get credit cuz' Martinez was a high P4P level fighter?

& All of them well past prime when floyd beat them.
