Beating Marg does nothing now for his legacy or resume. That ship has sailed, it would have done great 2-5 years ago. But, now? Nah beating him doesn't move Floyd up at all even with a win on top of Pac. And, is getting to the point where a win over Cotto does nothing either.

Put him next to Oscar? WTF.

Is debatable that Floyd is top 50 ATG

It's debatable if Oscar is top 100 ATG.

        They're not close at all.

Considering Duran was a legit WW and 10x greater than either Hatton or Marquez...No, its not really the same, at all.

However, Floyds win over Hatton is a solid legit win in my eyes.

But comparing it to Leonards win over Duran is a little bit...silly.

Mosley, Hatton and Marquez who is still top en p4p, you can't say and think he ducked fighters, but come on, I can say that about any boxer. he is top 10 in my book. you gotta look at all time great on how the other boxers in the list stack up, and not just by resume.
If Pac beats Martinez at 147 should Pac get credit cuz' Martinez was a high P4P level fighter?

likely on the first ballot, unless all of these older greats retire in the same year (bhop, pacquiao, mosley, both klitschkos, james toney, cotto, floyd, calderon, marquez, list goes on.)

LMFAOOOO, none of those guys are hall of famers.

                    In what sense?

That Duran was actually campaigning at WW for 2 whole years before facing Leonard and had a win over Carlos Palomino a win at WW that is greater than any win JMM and Hatton had/has at WW?

If that's the apples and oranges, by all means I agree.

Because, the fact is...It's quite silly to try and compare Leonard win over Duran to Floyd wins over JMM and Hatton.

floyd only has 3 sure fire hall of famers on his resume:

                      oscar, shane, & marquez.

& All of them well past prime when floyd beat them.

Floyd is somewhere around top 40-50.
