Don't forget that the British fighter Joe Calzaghe has also only ever fought 1 fight at Light-Heavyweight, and he even admitted to performing very poorly by his standards in that particular fight.

He tore his left bicept. He usually has an abnormally huge left bicept, but on that night it was swollen to a grotesque deree. See it again and look closely. It was badly swollen even when not flexed. Jones is known for a left hook. It's probably alot stronger than Jeff Lacy's.

Up until now I have given Roy no shot, but today Ree**** told me I had no idea so I am about to watch Roy-Tito for the 68th time to see if I can find anything different. The workrate is still the crucial difference to me. That, combined with Joe's ability to take solid shots should just see him outwork Roy I think.
That's exactly how I see it. The most noticeable sign of aging on RJ is his work rate. He's not nearly as busy as he was in his prime. His hands are still very fast but he seems to throw one shot at a time a lot and picks his spots much more. His speed will bother Calzaghe but if Jones work rate doesn't improve for this fight the busy Calzaghe will win by a wide decision .Recently I watched Jones-Woods and Jones-Trinidad back to back, and you can see clearly how Jones is not as aggressive or busy as he used to be. Right now I see a close fight after 7 before Calzaghe's punch volume takes over.[/B]

It will be interesting for me to see how Joe's gonna fare after an excruciating battle with Hopkins. Honestly, what boxer was ever the same after stepping in the ring with the executioner? Look at Tito, Oscar, Eastman, Taylor.

Sadly I have to admit that too many English people (and people from the rest of the United Kingdom) on this particular website are absolutely morons and have views that are not indicative of the views of the vast majority of English people.

Roy Jones was shot to pieces 3-4 years ago.
You kids are dreaming if you think he has anything left.
Same as Iron Mike he will lose and look bad.
