I agree! Joe by UD! Roy is obviously past his prime! Some Roy fans here must still be thinking Roy can still be the man he was in the 90s! Sorry guys, but that's just a dream!

Roy has been fighting for only once a year since 2005, how can he ever get past a guy who is a top P4P contender at the moment?

Up until now I have given Roy no shot, but today Ree**** told me I had no idea so I am about to watch Roy-Tito for the 68th time to see if I can find anything different. The workrate is still the crucial difference to me. That, combined with Joe's ability to take solid shots should just see him outwork Roy I think.
Don't bother. Roy looked reasonable against Tito but thats all. The two old guys basicaly stood flatfooted in front of each other throwing punches. If you do watch again, a close inspection will reveal that Roy appears also to have lost a lot of punching power.

        it was his left...

no it will reveal the same roy thats always been there... a roy that is more prone on sharp accurate punches then power punches... roy never shoots all the way through, until he wants too...

It also shows how a guy who fought at HW... just made 169 1/2 lbs at 39 years old... nobodys ever done that, let alone perform... add that to a torn left bicep.. and i was impressed.

So this fight is finally being made. If it can be made now, how come it couldnt be made all those years back. You see....it aint that hard to fight each other if you want to.

He looks good when Tito is in front of him and he has time to execute. Is he going to be able to do that against a guy who will be constantly swarming him. When Tito threw Roy was happy to wait for his turn to throw back rather than countering effectively. I'm not sure that will work against Joe. I will admit though, the straight right is the key to his fight, I can see Joe being troubled by that punch.

Another one of those sad fights that must be done in boxing from time to time to prove a point. Tyson-Holmes, Holmes-Ali, Robinson-Armstrong
That was spoken by a true 18 post member. STFU and move on to something you know about. By saying that, you have shown your true boxing IQ.

Correction, the winds of his gloves gave Manfredo and early night, though it wouldn't have taken long if there was proper officiating.
