what were bud and spence doing at 24? were they making davis money? were they selling out? were they headlining showtime and hbo cards? loma was still fighting kids in headgear.....

stop hating on the guy...hes ahead in the business aspect of the game...ahead of alot of guys....but i get it...business doesnt matter if its a black guy or guy you dont like or a guy with the pbc
If he's getting paid well it's not because people around him are actually making money, they're probably losing money right now hoping to recoup it a couple fold later. Doesn't mean they will be.

Business doesn't matter if it's a black guy? WTF are you talking about? Why always pull the race? Most known and revered boxers in boxing are black, the most famous boxers are black, the boxer who made more money than anyone in the sport is black, so who TF is holding black fighters back?

ive said it once...ill say it again real slow for a dum dum like you

tank is ahead of the curve as far as money and exposure...now how many current top 20 p4p guys had a better resume than davis at age 24...ill wait for you to answer that one.....go ahead
Foh. He ain't fought NOBODY. that's the point. U keep repeating bs that NOBODY but fanboys care about. Real fans want real fights. Had he ticked thos boxes w/o a belt, I might be hooting and hollering like you. But he has/had a belt. When u earn that belt, you dont duck cause your not a prospect anymore, get it, fanboy? Your problem is you care about everything other than him fighting the best. Good for you, but bad for boxing, white guy from the burbs

I have a feeling that if he faced Loma he may get the Russell Walters or Rigo treatment...just hard to say until they face off...and by that I mean I need to see them side by side to see size wise how they stack up...I think Loma would use his experience still to beat Tank if they are roughly the same size, and in beating him he may dismantle him mentally which could derail Tank's career.

Tank could be ready for Loma as you feel he is though...if he has any type of size edge on Loma, Loma has looked pedestrian imo against similar skill guys to Tank, so maybe Tank can pull it off...maybe he can hang with Loma anyway even if they are the same size.

I think Floyd is just trying to protect his investment with Tank though and knows that right now Loma is a very risky fight for him...I think Tank at 24 has a few impressive wins already though so yeah I like him...I will be honest though I don't really follow the little guys much so idk how good some of those KO wins are.

But I do follow expectations going into fights, and Tank seems to exceed expectations every time out...and then some people call Pedraza and Cueller etc bums or complete bums and that isn't the case from what I can tell.
        Good post, again.

I don't remember your new username. What was your original one? This username looks like someone doubling on abtfkntime!

Anyway, you said you didn't know about Davis' amateur fights. I know all about it and really don't care about any of that. This is the pros.

A few more facts here for you about Davis:

He spars regularly one of the biggest and best southpaws in the world in Spence (been like that for a few years now). He works with Floyd on defense.

Spence and him are good friends. And, if you are a Davis hater (not talking about you), you wouldn't like Spence's story about Davis. He likes to spar bigger guys. Davis has a rock solid chin as well.

Loma's struggle with Pedraza had to do with the southpaw stance. He really doesn't like it. I've seen that in some Loma fights. Every time Pedraza turned southpaw, he was owning Loma. Loma looked confused and out of sorts. Davis is a bigger southpaw and better than Pedraza ten times.

Too often it’s used as an excuse to not have big fights and let things “marinate?and it’s killing the sport. I understand it “builds his profile?but it doesn’t mean I have to be happy about it.

Also, it’s not just Farmer. Every defense he made was against a bantamweight or super bantamweight coming up. For the amount of shade I throw at Munguia, I’d be a hypocrite for not doing the same for tank.
Bro, objectively, who do you think he should fight next? His next fight. Please answer directly.

The one I want next is Fortuna. Fireworks. That guy brings a lot to the table in terms boxing skills and power. That's my to make fight for Davis next. Yours?

In terms of numbers in the US, Davis actually has more white and Latino fans than black. I haven't met many serious white boxing fans who had anything to criticize about his boxing. It's not about race.

This is one guy most real boxing fans find hard to shit on. As crazy as it sounds, I'm a Loma fan, too.

              Fuck the haters.

It definitely isn't about race. He has repeatedly said hes a white guy from the burbs so I continually repeat the same line.

Davis has a lot of potential if he stays clean. He might have been able to do what Ruiz did but we need to see more of him to expect more.

He's clean. I think he should find a better promoter and adviser soon. I wanna see Gervonta fighting at least 4 times a year. He's a veteran cub.

He's wasting his time with Floyd's BS and Haymon.
