      And Crawford???

I think Tank is on the right path if he stays in shape between fight. The guy as talent and is a devastating puncher. Im not a fan but I always been saying that he has a chance vs Loma.

annnndddddd crawford....and because this isnt about loyalties or anything like that...what about spence? WTF was spence doing at 24?!??!!?

these guys cant accept this....they are holding tank to a different standard because hes black and hes with al haymon/floyd....it couldnt be any more clear their agenda.....it sticks out and its pathetic and sad for these so called "boxing fans"....

this is what they sound like

        "dear tank,

please deliver a HOF resume by age 24...we know no one has ever done that but please do it...if you dont i wont like you...oh wait you havent...i dont like you...oh you make good money? oh you have great exposure and have accomplished things most guys couldnt dream of at age 24? well guess what i dont like those things and i dont care who likes them because I dont like them and i hate you tank i hate you"!!!

have a conversation about who the greatest qb is of all time? someone says tom brady? guess what? others are going to talk about some of the things that peyton manning or montana did or didnt do....thats how it works....your lack of understanding of this shows a serious lack of ability to reason
Man, that stung... being told I'm an intellectual inferior by a dude who's stock in trade is the kind of logical fallacy I thought was clever when I was about 12 and who still believes this ish is about 'goodies' and 'baddies'. Dude, you're an absolutely prime example of the Dunning-Kruger effect in action.

I've not been trying to debate your point, man. I'm trying to tell you it ain't necessary to sleight other fighters to get your point across - in fact it lessens the value of any point you have to make and cheapens debate, but then I think that's maybe what you're looking for.

If I was seeking to address your point I'd say that Tank's doing pretty well for his age, but the comparisons you're making are in no way like for like. Golovkin turned pro at the age Tank is now, Spence turned pro at just shy of 23 years old. Neither Crawford nor Golovkin began their careers with anything like the opportunities Tank has had as a protege of the biggest name in the sport and both had to leave failing promoters before their careers could finally take off (Bud left TKO in 2011 at about 24 years old, Golovkin left Universum at 28) precisely because they weren't getting the fights their talents deserved.

So the question then is why are you making false comparisons to bolster your point? And whilst I'm not one of the dudes who's been going in on Tank - although his recent opposition really has been below his level - you ain't really in a position to be telling folk not to go critcising dudes, since, well... you do that ish all day long.

Besides - what actually is your point? Are you claiming that Tank's resume shouldn't be open to question or criticism? That people shouldn't express anything other than positive opinions about him?

He's really good for his age. I hope he steps it up soon. The Gamboa fight might be interesting considering its a new weight class.

this right here..i love it......."circumstances"....we should hold tank to a different standard because we feel tank has had the easy life!!! tanks been coddled and groomed!!!! because i hate floyd and al haymon!!!!

Ill excuse the other guys because they had different circumstances and turned pro at different ages!!!!! but i want to hold tank accountable to all others standards of greatness also!!!

lets pretend all things are even for once recognize that not all fighters started at the same age and circumstances...

is tank not doing well for himself? does tank not have time to build a good resume? how many guys had good resumes at age 24?

how many guys in the sport can tick off even one of those boxes at 24?

what were bud and spence doing at 24? were they making davis money? were they selling out? were they headlining showtime and hbo cards? loma was still fighting kids in headgear.....

stop hating on the guy...hes ahead in the business aspect of the game...ahead of alot of guys....but i get it...business doesnt matter if its a black guy or guy you dont like or a guy with the pbc

but if golovkin is ducking ward to wait another year and half to fight canelo "cause duh its smart business" its ok.....some of you are so deluded and twisted with hate its sickening......

hes 24 and has a ton of time to build a real resume....yall celebrated a guy that took his first meaningful fight at age 34 lol
