i dont expect you to care...but the world notices...its called "exposure"...the more exposure you have the more fights are available to you...its simple...a guy like khan has still been getting fights because of how well known he is...and hes been done for awhile

you can be another lame who refuses to acknowledge the business side of that sport THAT DOES EXIST....it must be nice living in the alternate universe where it doesnt....but im over here

dude is making around the same as what loma makes per fight...not too shabby eh? did i also mentions hes 24? not 32, 34 or 37?

him refusing to defend it against farmer or whatever you think it is has less to do with wanting to fight him and more to do with the power struggle between outfits....you know that...hes not afraid of fighting farmer

the business side of it exists...we dont like it...but we accept it because we cant change it..in a perfect, fantasy, world it wouldnt exist...you seem to want to exist there instead of reality

he put 15k in the seats for a fight..i dont care who or where you are thats impressive in the US for a guy that young and at that level...15k...how many americans are doing that...is bud even doing that in omaha right now?

stop living in your fantasy world where the business side of boxing doesnt exist...because it does...for everyone
I never said you had loyalties, just clarifying that I don’t. Most of the people on here do.

And I’m not in a fantasy world where the business doesn’t matter. I know it does. I’m saying it doesn’t concern me. Too often it’s used as an excuse to not have big fights and let things “marinate” and it’s killing the sport. I understand it “builds his profile” but it doesn’t mean I have to be happy about it.

Also, it’s not just Farmer. Every defense he made was against a bantamweight or super bantamweight coming up. For the amount of shade I throw at Munguia, I’d be a hypocrite for not doing the same for tank.

        Rexy...let me simplify my point

gervonta davis- business/exposure wise=ahead of the game at age 24
gervonta davis-resume wise=not behind anyone else age wise

does that make sense? business/exposure wise hes ahead of basically almost everyone for his age....resume wise hes not behind any/many at the same age

hes ahead of any major fighter in one aspect at the same age..and behind almost no one in the resume department at the same age

who were guys like bud/spence/loma/golovkin etc fighting at age 24?

It's why casual fans are actually running and ruining boxing. Maybe you think that's good thing, I do not.

I’m just saying, as a regular fan, and I’m a fan of all the locals in the DMV, that money made by your fav fighter isn’t normally something to brag about unless you’re super proud of the guy. If you are proud, all respect, I’m proud of him as well. I know I won’t see any of it but I hope he reinvests some of it back to Baltimore.

i dont care how many boxes he ticks, the most important one that's NOT ticked is the one vs quality opponents. THEE MOST IMPORTANT one. Dont give me "he's young doe" or "he's still a prospect"....

The lil mufu.cka has a belt. And with ALL THOSE BOXES TICKED, he shouldve fought the who's who at the weight class that he held the belt in. You wanna be a fanboi, go right ahead, but dont expect everyone else to bend the knee like you.....white guy from the burbs

how many guys in the sport today had a resume better than tanks at age 24...ill wait....the list is very, very, short

so why didnt you hold all of the greats of this era...all of the p4p guys...to the same standard?

ive said it once...ill say it again real slow for a dum dum like you

tank is ahead of the curve as far as money and exposure...now how many current top 20 p4p guys had a better resume than davis at age 24...ill wait for you to answer that one.....go ahead

the only people ruining the sport are fgts like you with agendas against certain fighters

you want tank to have some amazing resume at age 24 when guys like loma were fighting teenagers in headgear....guys like spence and bud werent building great resumes at 24

i love spence...heres what spence was doing at 24=peter oluoch, ray charles, ron cruz, francisco castro, noe bolanos

heres what crawford was doing at 24=tony mora, angel rios, derrick campos, andre gorges....should i keep going?!?!?!?

do i dare start to list of golovkins opponents at 24?!?!?!

you guys want to hold him to a standard that is rarely, if ever, attained by anyone! even the p4p greats of this generation!!!!!
