Smith PPV did double what GGG only real PPV did. If he making so much money overseas why is he begging Canelo then? Because you blowing smoke up everyone's arse and know he aint seeing nothing like the money Canelo is seeing and won't get a snif of the money that Canelo offered him by begging to be the B side to any of the UK stars.

Like I said delusional GGG fangirls who really think GGG is a bigger star then Canelo despite all the evidence that proves otherwise. Even HBO the network that built him up and totally invested in him knows he's not as bigger then Canelo. That's why he had to wait a year and half for his next PPV after he flopped. While Canelo can fight whoever he wants whenever he wants and HBO grants him PPV dates.
Kell Brook had headlined one PPV show before GGG, against Frankie Gavin, another well known UK fighter. Brook/Gavin sold 139k PPVs .. and that was with AJ on the undercard!

Brook vs Golovkin sold 642K .. 500k more .. Brook carried that PPV doe .. yeah right.

And Sky PPV tickets cost around $20, btw, not $15.

$20 vs $70? LMAO big boy PPV is 70 bucks. Did GGG go to the UK or did Brook come to GGG? And you telling me all those brits screaming were for GGG because I could swear they were all screaming and cheering for the hometown kid Brook. They bought tickets and PPVs to see their own. If you disagree and think GGG drove the tickets then why isn't he fighting Jacobs over seas in that same arena? Because without Brook or a big name Brit nobody gives to phuks about GGG in the UK. you embarrassing yourself.

Newsflash GGG is the B side no matter how you try to spin it. Outside of die hard boxing fans nobody knows or gives 2 phuks about GGG and that won't change no matter how much you bytch about it on a boxing site. Canelo been a part of numerous big PPV events, HBO GGG's own network gives him a PPV date whenever he wants because he's the biggest draw in boxing. GGG's only road to a big payday is through Canelo. Sorry that upsets you

You're a ******. That's like saying if Joshua-Klitschko sells more than 1.2 mil, Klitschko is a bigger draw in the UK than Joshua because Joshua has only sold 600k before.

Tell me how many PPVs Golovkin has sold in the UK before Brook, how many would he sell not fighting a Brit?

I live in the UK, and I'm telling you that GGG is THE most well known and respected non-UK fighter in the world among British casual fans now.

That's why Chris Eubank Sr's sole strategy in selling his son to the UK public is to talk about fighting GGG .. on ITVEEEE, so the whole country can SEEEE!!!

this is why the ****** element of boxingscene are having so much trouble

Nope. I live in the UK and casual fans have never heard of him before Brook, no casual cares about him, casuals only support Brits.

Which is why his fights are on Boxnation. Sky doesn't want them, there's not enough interest without fighting a Brit.

And what proof you have his Star power is growing? He just had his worse TV ratings in years for HBO against Brook. Worse then the ratings he got the year BEFORE against Martin Murray. Brook was a bigger name and bigger fight then Murray yet it drew less ratings on HBO, his own network didn't give him a single HBOPPV last year. If he's growing like you said he is then they would of been gave him PPVs immediately following the Lemiuex fight. That's the biggest mistake I see is his fans think well he don't need Canelo he will become a star like Canelo on his own. WRONG. He's too old and doesn't have any comparable fights that will springboard his career. Where as Canelo is ALREADY the biggest draw today and will continue to be that with OR without GGG. And he's only 26 he can just wait around until the next boogeyman springs up and fight them. In the meantime he's got tons of fights he can make and fighters across 3+ weight classes that will all jump at the offer to make career payday money and fight him. While GGG is the one left out in the cold. And if GGG was so rich and didn't need Canelo he wouldn't be begging him all last year would he?

GGG IS NOT Manny. LMAO Manny was already a PPV star with numerous big PPV buys under his belt, a better resume, and was making huge money each time out with tons of fight options. Plus he was younger then GGG. He could afford to wait years and keep banking PPVs in the meantime before he fought Floyd. That's the problem you guys don't realize the gulf between GGG and Canelo is FAR wider then Manny and Floyd. Manny wasn't drawing as much but it was very close to Floyd was a proven PPV star. GGG has no relevant fights under his belt and 1 PPV flop. Canelo been in countless PPVs and is a part of the second biggest PPV fight of alltime.

                  GREAT post !

insinuating that GGG has any leverage over Canelo is absurd

and yet..... all Golovkin has ever done is make unrealistic demands and refuse to give concessions to MUCH bigger stars

that is literally how NOT to make a fight LMAO

It's 3x his highest ever purse. Canelo made a total of $12million to fight Mayweather in a FAR bigger fight.
15 sucks when the fight is going to generate close to 100 mil but like I said..Canelo's the boss on this one..Take it or don't

Golovkin didn't get a flat fee for fighting Brook. The arrangement was that Brook got the same percentage of the Sky money as AJ and Froch were on and GGG got the lion's share of the international income. What the actual percentages were was not revealed.
