don't bring up UK PPV sales that Brook carried NOT GGG especially when those PPV cost like 15 bucks. LMAO. Canleo does big boy PPVs that cost 70 and generate REAL money. Smith PPV did double what GGG only real PPV did. If he making so much money overseas why is he begging Canelo then? Growing every day? HE IS PUSHING 40. He's not a young kid with time to build his brand over years. In a few years he will be too old. And what proof you have his Star power is growing? He just had his worse TV ratings in years for HBO against Brook. Worse then the ratings he got the year BEFORE against Martin Murray. Brook was a bigger name and bigger fight then Murray yet it drew less ratings on HBO, his own network didn't give him a single HBOPPV last year. If he's growing like you said he is then they would of been gave him PPVs immediately following the Lemiuex fight. That's the biggest mistake I see is his fans think well he don't need Canelo he will become a star like Canelo on his own. WRONG. He's too old and doesn't have any comparable fights that will springboard his career. Where as Canelo is ALREADY the biggest draw today and will continue to be that with OR without GGG. And he's only 26 he can just wait around until the next boogeyman springs up and fight them. In the meantime he's got tons of fights he can make and fighters across 3+ weight classes that will all jump at the offer to make career payday money and fight him. While GGG is the one left out in the cold. And if GGG was so rich and didn't need Canelo he wouldn't be begging him all last year would he?

GGG IS NOT Manny. LMAO Manny was already a PPV star with numerous big PPV buys under his belt, a better resume, and was making huge money each time out with tons of fight options. Plus he was younger then GGG. He could afford to wait years and keep banking PPVs in the meantime before he fought Floyd. That's the problem you guys don't realize the gulf between GGG and Canelo is FAR wider then Manny and Floyd. Manny wasn't drawing as much but it was very close to Floyd was a proven PPV star. GGG has no relevant fights under his belt and 1 PPV flop. Canelo been in countless PPVs and is a part of the second biggest PPV fight of alltime.

It's 3x his highest ever purse. Canelo made a total of $12million to fight Mayweather in a FAR bigger fight.

Golovkin didn't get a flat fee for fighting Brook. The arrangement was that Brook got the same percentage of the Sky money as AJ and Froch were on and GGG got the lion's share of the international income. What the actual percentages were was not revealed.
