    I agree with you

Brook is not a draw, and he never has been

    that was an obvious cherry-pick

And those 2 fights you mentioned were fights HBO was NOT going to air on PPV Brook got the exact same deal that was in place for Eubank so don't pretend that if Saunders/Eubank fought GGG it was going to be on HBO PPV. Who's fault is it that GGG is already old and wasted so much of his career refusing to step up his level of competition? If he took more risks compromised weight and money to land bigger fights he'd be a bigger star today then he is. Instead he's pushing 40 and basically has to beg Canelo for a handout.

You can't use Manny's blueprint when you ain't a PPV star like Manny. Manny was the A side to every fighter on the planet EXCEPT Floyd. GGG was the B side to Brook for phuk sake and had to travel to his home turf. Khan is a bigger draw then Brooks is overseas and yet HE HAD TO COME to the US to fight Canelo. Manny was on par with Floyd, much younger with numerous big PPV fights he could take in the meantime to hold out for Floyd. These dynamics don't exist for old no PPV draw GGG who has to beg UK fighters for handouts.
You're in denial and it's very pathetic. GGG wanted to fight Canelo in September not Saunders or Eubanks but all three had excuses. I said that GGG's star power is growing and it is but obviously it's not at the level of Canelo or Pacquiao. I think you need to separate a few things. (1) Right now GGG is the favorite to beat Canelo. That means most experts think GGG is at a higher skill level than Canelo. FACT! (2) Canelo has a stronger fan base simply because he's Mexican. That's the only thing that makes him a bigger PPV start than GGG. Didn't earn it! (3) When a boxer makes a weight comfortably at the ripe age of 35 it means he's a natural at that weight no need for him to move up. (4) Canelo has never fought/beaten a single true middle weight. He has never fought at 160 (always 155 or less). Chavez will be his first fight ever above 155. That means he has no resume at middleweight. No title at middleweight. How many of the current top 10 MW's has Canelo beaten??? Let me tell you: ZERO!

Mayweather-Hatton did more than double Hattons previous PPVs in the UK. Does that mean Mayweather was a bigger draw in the UK than Hatton?

Calzaghe-Manfredo attendance doubled any previous Calzaghe fight. Does that mean Manfredo was as big a draw as Calzaghe in Wales?

That was all % based. So not the same as the offer to ggg. Floyd dlh was 65/35 same with Bernard dlh cotto floyd was 75/25

This gets funnier and funnier! Casuals don't know about or give a **** about weight divisions, apart from the division between HWs and everybody else.

So you're saying that 500,000 casual fans, who had never paid to watch a Kell Brook fight before, saw a news bullitin saying he was moving up 2 divisions to fight some guy they'd never even heard of .. and decided they were going to get their credit cards out and pay to watch it? GTFOH!

And how do you explain this .. before GGG fought Brook, Sky Sports ran a poll asking UK sports fans who they thought was the best P4P boxer in the world .. and hey that same guy who nobody in the UK had heard about till he fought Kell came top in that poll! How do you explain that?

good that you agree GGG is a draw for 600K PPV buys.

how was it a cherry pick when Eubanks by his own admission bailed last minute?

Oh the old Sky Sports poll where about 15k people voted for Golovkin, a poll anyone in the world could vote on.

Oh .. I get it now.. we're back to the old "Golovkin vs Eubank was a K2 conspiracy" theory.

                      so is grass

                      grass actually grows faster

maybe a win over Jacobs will help

I know that beating Canelo would

I also know that 15mil is a very good offer, one that Golovkin will not receive again should he/Canelo lose in the near future

refusing 15mil is an absurd dropkick-level reason to kill that fight.....
