I can't even get the actual numbers from GGG's fights on Boxnation in the UK, and I live here! All I know is that I pay to watch them, and that Frank Warren says Golovkin's fights are among the most successful events Boxnation has ever screened. But Warren's a lying snake, when he says something people don't want to agree with.

After GGG/Lemieux, I posted links to an interview with Loeffler where he said that fight had brought in more money internationally than any other K2 had staged, and that it had been screened live in over 120 countries worldwide.

Guess what response that got from the GGG haters ... Loeffler is a lying snake doe .. etc.
You want to know how GGG can make a SHT ton more $$$$$ by wearing sht like THIS!

[QUOTE=thack;17449250]Canelo is a mirror of Oscar .Everyone knows Canelo is running .He has lost all respect running from a fight that he thinks if he makes enough excuses to swerve it will go away.Just has Khan has wiggled out and run again from Brook but the excuses have caught up with both.[/QUOTE/]

Agree. The biggest problem with Canelo is his mouth. I like him but he should have never started posturing like a rooster saying "I'll fight him right now" after the Cotto fight when he knew that wasn't going to happen. What he and Oscar are doing now is called damage control. They're trying to ingratiate their fan base back into the fold so they buy PPV events with Canelo fighting someone else. No way they're going to make this fight with Golovkin. Too risky and too dangerous.

        That is certainly available.

And you didn't even post the link you just referred to.

Again, what does Lil g bring to the table?

        That's your homework.

Numbers please, and check your work.
Does he not know that GGG can wear a SHT ton of sponsors logos??? Canelo looks like a walking BILLBOARD when he comes to fights.

"Tecate signs Canelo Alvarez to endorsement deal"

You think that wouldn't be worth MILLIONS in a MEGA fight for GGG???

GGG should stop the ducking before he gets too old to face a good fighter, for the first time.

I'm a fight fan, I don't care about why a deal breaks apart as much as the bottom line of whether or not a fight happens.

Canelo gets no slack here. This is the same as when Floyd offered Manny the flat $40 million. It's just an obvious misdirection-tactic in a PR battle.

Canelo looks way worse than Golovkin if that fight doesn't happen this year. Canelo has already lost a lot of respect from hardcore fight fans in the last 18 months. After he (probably) trounces JCC Jr. this May, he only has 1 place to go if he wants to be the mainstream star they've been trying to build him up to be.

He could beat GGG, but he has to fight him. A win there could be difference between where he is now and getting to that Mayweather & Manny circa 2007-2010 level of PPV attraction.

I agree with you on everything, except that he needs to fight him this year, if he waits a year and they both keep winning, this fight will only grow, plus GGG is getting older. In the end, what makes the hardcore fans happy, doesn't make anybody as rich as they could and boxing is after all a job, where cashing out big, might be more important to the fighter than getting the credit for the top risks all the time like a Carl Froch type of fighter.

Outside of the US and Mexico, GGG has many more fans than Canelo, but they don't register in HBO PPV numbers.

Demanding that Golovkin gives up a fair share of the income from his own worldwide fan base, which far exceeds Canelo's, is just another way of stalling and putting off fighting him till he is over the hill. A shameful duck, in other words.
Talking like Golovkins makes millions from international rights. Boxnation etc pay peanuts for 4am American cards like Golovkin-Lemieux.

15M is more than enough, and Oscar stated before they're a PPV % as well

This does not explain why Canelo won't agree to GGG getting a fair % of the income from the fight. A fixed fee for one man, rather than a % split for both, is something that just doesn't happen In a MEGA fight.

Golovkin has got no other options. It'll take him 5 fights to make what Canelo is offering. It's a great offer.

Canelo made less for the 2nd biggest fight in history.

                      Not fair though.......

Pretty sure quite a few Mayweather and Pacquiao opponents took flat fees for 1 million selling PPV fights. Just another lie by Golovkin fans saying it doesn't happen.
