Idiots on here still think moving up at 33 to a class where everyone is rangier than you and simultaneously bigger is the same as some young cats moving up while still keeping their length and having the frame for the weight.
You don't think Golovkin can be successful at 168? Just asking, I don't mind whether he chooses to move up or not but I am of the opinion that he'd be dangerous at 168.

You clearly care, hence this post. It's not that serious stick to boxing

You remember that though right? People were actually more critical of Canelo, this is nothing compared to a lot of the criticism he got.

Of course I do. And what was it about? The opposition.

I think he can compete but fights will naturally be harder while he's dealt with most of the physical disadvantages.

The thing is, no one fights on the inside, as much as I like Ward he has benefited from that. Golovkin will have room to operate, unless it's against Ward of course.

People really do need to remember that, Bushbaby was leading the pack with the hate, I remember it vividly.

which is why many of us wanted to see him fight Ward at 168 because it wouldn't be as easy as his 160 fights and would force him to make adjustments and likely fight differently to win.

What's strange is that...there is no guarantee of a Cotto or Canelo fight or anything close to it. In fact, sounds like they don't want the fight at all. So this talk of unification is strange to me. You aren't fighting Jacobs or Quillin either.

Ahh well. Like I said, I'll be happy if he gets the Canelo-Cotto winner. But if he's still fighting this crap level of opposition next year, I guarantee they aren't going to be able to fool anyone other than the butthurt Pacquiao fans on here.

Canelo's team seem more interested in moving him up slowly which is understandable, Cotto might move back down to LMW or for all we know, this Cotto-Canelo fight might turn into a series. So much that needs to be considered.

I'm getting sick of the Lemieux hype for starters, you would think no ones watched a fight of his. I've never seen anyone look so amateurish, even while being dominant, that Ndam fight.
