He's following the rules of boxing! What an arrogant ducking fraud!
He is calling out a guy who is a division south of him, and small for that division at that. If he wants to follow rules, then fight 126lbers only.

Is he? I don't really pay attention to who's calling out who. I'm sure its Rigondeaux who markets himself on everyone being afraid to fight him but then ask him to move up one weight class and its catchweights, rehydration clauses etc.

I think Rigo is skilled enough to pull it off without any of that rubbish. Many fighters in the past have gone up in weight and been at a huge disadvantage yet still managed to overcome it.

Lomachenko is fighting 126lbers only. And if Rigondeaux wants the fight, then move up.

Loma never really wanted to fight Rigo. IMO he was using this to draw attention away from the fact he doesn't want to fight Walters.

I understand posters that wonder why Loma didn't want the Walters fight because of the weight then calls out a smaller fighter he would have a similar weight advantage against.

I also understand Loma wanting to stay at 126 and fight Vevetkya-good opponent (IMO not as dangerous as Walters or Rigo) and can win a belt.

It's just a shame that we do not appear to be getting the 2 best FW in the ring together to determine who the best is (of course if walters goes to 130 then we are getting that with Loma/Vevetkya) or the highly desired diehard fan rigo/loma clash.

But he wants to fight both. He just doesn't want any weight issues. He's a featherweight who wants to fight at featherweight. Shocking!

How can you come to the conclusion that the guy who wants to do everything by the book is the one who doesn't want the fight?

Salido doing Loma dirty means he'll never make concessions on weight again.

Rigo should just fight him. Okay he might lose, but the same is true with a 10lb rehydration weight and a 125lb catchweight.

Loma's team were the ones to call him out. Rigo isn't a GGG case. Its not like he actually cuts weight to get to 122, nor has he mentioned any intention to move up whatsoever. He immediately expressed interest after being called out, AND made concessions to have it happen.

Loma won't make a single concession to make this fight possible, ran from the Walters fight because he is one lb too heavy, yet is being a diva on Rigondeaux when it comes to weight.

Being a "diva" because he wants to fight at a full weight class with no rehydration clauses.

Ran from a guy who was unprofessional and didn't make weight so lost his title

                Am I dreaming here?

I am looking at everything Dirk. IMO this is a fake controversy to take attention away from Loma being the one who nixed the Walters fight.

Loma/Arm/HBO doesn't want to risk Loma losing again at this stage. The Salido fight showed that while he is a tremendous boxer/puncher, he is still too inexperienced to be able to deal with a much heavier opponent. So again, I get not fighting Walters now.

The Vevtkya fight appears to be next. instead of just saying that we are going thru the motions on a Rigo fight that IMO was never going to happen as Rigo has the same position Loma has relative to Walters regarding the weight of the opponent.

The Loma should just fight Walters, which is the fight most of us prefer than a Loma/Rigo fight.

When did he nix the Walters fight? When Walters came in overweight and lost his featherweight title? Why is that Lomachenko's fault? Shouldn't you be blaming Walters for being unprofessional?

No, that wouldn't fit your agenda.
