Hahahaha, this is too funny! so Lomachenko won't fight Walters cause he was 1lb over the weight limit, and it's not fair that the guy will outweigh him by 15 pounds or more, so they express their desire to fight Rigondeaux who is small at 122, they want him to come up to 126, Rigo accepts but requests a limit of 134 wich means he will still be outweighed but just doesn't want it to be too extreme, now consider that Rigo has never fought at 126 but is willing to fight the dangerous Lomachenko without even a tune-up fight while being the SMALLER, OLDER fighter. man talk about confidence! who has it and who doesn't? I mean, how many advantages does Lomachenko need to fight Rigondeaux?
And by the way none of this is said by Rigo himself, it is al Gary Hyde,
Rigo already said in an interview that he will fight Lomachenko at the full 126 no matter what Lomachenko weighs fight night, let's see what happens if it becomes official.

You dont agree with a manager trying to get the best deal for his fighter

Rigo is the one that needs fights, Klimas was just making an offer. He can take it or leave it.
What a tool.... From the comment to the sig. Tool all day.

Best deal financially, yeah. Trying to put in weight stipulations and all that ****....no. It only serves to give people excuses should you win.

if hes so damn good he wouldnt need no negotiations on weights...
......seriously, where the hell do these ******s come from? Do we need to spell it out for you? Is Mayweather the best P4P fighter able to fight and beat Bernard Hopkins just because Mayweather has loads of skill? There is a reason there are weight classes and a reason why thereare Pound 4 Pound ratings. Stop slurping Loma's ****!

Well, financially speaking, losing would be a disaster. Rigo is old and already well avoided, a loss would put him off the map completely. So Hyde is well within his rights to try and get advantages if he can. If they can't come to an agreement they wont fight, if they can then they will.

Normally you understand this, but for whatever reason today you dont.

Mayweather fighting Hopkins would be in his 7th weight class and something like 50lbs above where he started his pro career.

Rigondeaux is being asked to move up one weight class.

Good. Catchweights and rehydration clauses are garbage. I'd rather the fight not even happen if it's going to come with a big asterisk.

Rigo should just come up to 126, but get the bigger purse, by a pretty good margin for the added risk. That way there's nobody getting drained, they're fighting at an actual weight class for an actual belt, and the guy coming up gets rewarded financially.
