The reason that Cotto is not willing to commit to Alvarez or Golovkin is because he knows that if Algieri beat Khan on Friday night, he will become Mayweather's opponent of choice for TBE's final fight. Given that option and the chance to make twice as much as he would make fighting Alvarez and 10 times as much as he would make fighting Golovkin, I would do the same thing that Cotto is doing.

Cotto has EARNED the right to select a PPV opponent if the opportunity presents itself..... he could fight Mayweather, and then Canelo..... meaning that a potential Golovkin fight would likely be 18 months away.

That fight will never happen now that Cotto has signed with RocNation. JayZ and Haymon straight up hate each other going back to when Al screwed Jay over big time over a concert deal. Those two will never work together, Cotto/Jr 2 ain't happening.
