Manny Pacquiao, better fighter than Marvin Hagler, do you agree?

take a lil time out and check out a few of the videos I share.....Hagler was always balanced,, crisp jab, combos, good speed and power pre-1982....he slowed down a lot IMO after these years

right but not a good counter-puncher, never much of a defense either

Hell you could find 3 of Manny stretched out on the canvas. Hagler avenged nearly all of his losses, which were all close fights. The one he couldn't avenge was due to the fact that the other guy ducked a rematch.

Canelo is a super-Hagler? He has a better chin, speed, and power? Canelo is slow, both of hand and foot. Hagler has one of the best chins in boxing history.

Canelo has NEVER BEEN STOPPED! So how can you claim that Hagler has a better chin?

Anybody can pull up a video of Canelo on the mitts and see immediately there's hardly ANY boxers capable of such swiftness as that at that weight and any who are are ALL from the current or recent eras.

It's just that nothing you said has any relevance to reality!

Pacquiao has far more accomplishments than Hagler but accomplishments bragging by Pac Stans in general is pathetic. We're in a era with 68 world titles (not counting the super titles) and 17 divisions. Those straps really don't mean as much as they used to.

But Christ, Pac is definitely and obviously one of, if not the, best boxers of all time.

We can just look and SEE that Pac is better than Hagler.

I respect your opinion but I humbly disagree.....he is countering jabs with left and right hooks in those videos.....digging to the body when the jab misses and uses good uppercut counters


Lets be real, if you feel he was not a good counterpuncher and didn't have much a defense, you should feel the same about Manny


Neither were the best on defense or counterpunching but they both were adequate
