Agree. The way he could stick to you with just his jab, and the way he could cover distance is seriously GOAT levels. Serious.

And he could literally do it all in the ring, besides some RJJ type stuff. He's underrated at this point.

Either way, I still think it's super close between the 2. They're both ATGs, and better than the other in certain aspects, and worse than the other in certain aspects.

The way I see it Marvin fought in one division and his biggest fights were against smaller opponents. Great fighter but when it comes to accomplishments its a no-brainer.

Your first mistake was referring to something Skip Bayless said about boxing. Stephen A. knows a little more but he is clueless too.

Marvin Hagler had the skills, the aggression, and the intelligence that Pacquiao doesn't have... He may have more speed but that's about all he has over Hagler.

Hard to compare the 2 as Hagler was more of a middleweight. The guy was a bigger man. Thus, the nature of the fights reflected that.

The tragedy with Pacquiao is that we saw very little of him at lightweight and junior welterweight.

Pac is not ranked in either division... as he spent little time there. But no doubt, he would've cleaned out those divisions. Only guy in his way would have been JMM.

There's hardly any body of work there ..we can only imagine how he'd compare to Duran, Chavez Sr, Pryor, Benitez, Cervantes,

Those 4 would all beat Pacquiao. Pacquiao would beat Cervantes.

The question is who is the better fighter. Not who accomplished more or has the better resume etc.

Even in hypothetical matchups Hagler is matched against physically smaller opponents.

I dunno, looking at the comments on the video, it seems to be a few Pac fans that agree with Skip.

Just saying everyone is entitled to their opinion, no matter how crazy it might be.

                      Not comparable......

Both are ATGs. Both are in my top 5, all-time. I don't think you can compare fighter's who fight/fought in different weight classes. If Manny fought at 140 his entire career, who goes 12 with him? Maybe one or two guys but he is a one punch KO fighter down there. Hagler fought at Middleweight his entire career. He is a freak of nature, also. I consider Hagler to be the greatest Middleweight ever. Manny is the only 8 division champion in history. That alone should make him top 10-15. Who he fought to get to where he is today, makes him top 5-7 in my book. He is a ring immortal. To make it even more impressive, he made an entire career, without using a sustained jab. He doesn't need a jab or he doesn't need to fight inside. If that isn't unheard of, I don't know what is.
