    Manny Pacquiao, better fighter than Marvin Hagler, do you agree?



    Watching ESPN First Take, SKIP seems to feel that Hagler was overhyped, just a puncher.

    Is there any merit to it?

      Pac has more skills overall.

      I would have Pac higher up on my all-time p4p list for sure even if I think they're different breeds of fighters.

      I don't think Marvelous was over hyped.

      He was part of one of the biggest fights of all time for a reason.

        Very close...

        I think manny has a better resume... H2h who is a better fighter is a near toss up but I lean towards hagler.. Hagler's two fisted approach, jab, chin and will to win would cause manny a lot of problems much like marquez did.

            Hagler was better than Pacquaio regardless of the sheer number of "skills" you can count. Hagler was effective. He was impossible to hurt. He delivered total punishment against all comers and nobody ever got the best of him, man to man in the ring, regardless of what the judges said.

            Pacquaio is a supertalent, but Hagler was the better, badder fighter overall.

                NO. The only thing Pacquiao has over Hagler is speed. I think Hagler is underrated now, one of the most complete fighters you'll ever see.
