Wow never thought Pac won round 2. To those who wants to dispute this video. Time stamp it. Let's discuss, but I can assure you all connected punches were well documented.
This vid makes a great argument for Manny not only winning the second round, but dominating the round. IMO I thought it was a close round. Part of the reason I gave it to manny is because to me he clearly landed the harder shots, plural. I saw May land one hard shot, the straight right.

I watched the fight five times on several different streams with different commentary and 10 to 2 is not that far of a stretch (I had it 9 to 3 for Floyd). This fight wasn't close. Even the judges who scored it 8 rounds to 4 saw it wider upon a second viewing, giving Floyd 10 rounds to Manny's 2 rounds.
Remember a fight has four main criteria: Clean punching, effective aggression, ring generalship, and defense. If you have to watch a "slow mo" vid to determine if Manny was the true winner of a round that means his work was NOT CLEAN. Fights happen in real time not slow motion.
Also, Manny said in the post fight interview that the reason he threw so few punches is because of Floyd's movement which makes Floyd the ring general. If your opponent admits your movement is what made him throw his fewest number of punches in years then you are the ring general.
Manny's aggression was often ineffective. He said he thought he only hurt Floyd three times in all twelve rounds. He was coming forward eating jabs and hardly landing anything clean on his opponent. Maidana and Guerrero landed more clean shots on Floyd.
All three official judges, the ringside judges, the commentators, all saw one man winning the fight comfortably. Stop trying to act like it could have gone either way.
For you to bring up that 10-2 score by Floyd's go to judge Dave Moretti is a joke and shoots down the rest of your post.
1) You talk about Manny thinking he hurt Floyd 3 times. Well, if true, then that is 3 times more than Floyd doing anything to Manny. If Manny was not throwing many clean punches well, Floyd threw even less clean effective punches. Manny had the better offensive sequences.
2) Manny was actually better defensively than Floyd. Floyd resorted to reaching out and holding, pushing off, bending below the waist, head locking and so on. Even when Floyd used movement, he often pushed Manny off or did some type of fouling. Manny didn't have to do all that and held Floyd to mostly "touch" jabs. And because of what I stated and if you look at some other fights such as Lara, Peterson, movement does not necessarily mean that you get the ring generalship or defensive credit.
3) There are definitely rounds that went to Floyd that could have easily gone to Manny. With 2 judges having it 116-112, that means that all you need is 2 rounds and its a draw. You check out this thread and others, and you know that there are quite a few rounds that could have gone to Manny but the Vegas judges gave it to Floyd.
4) Like others said, the fight was mostly fought in a style that is perceived to be in favor of Floyd not Manny. In the past, Manny rounds tend to be higher volume more action type rounds. This fight had little of that. So the judges gave close tactical rounds to Floyd even though he did not necessarily win the round.
5) Like I said in the a previous post, slow-mo and replays can make you see what you missed. Floyd fans do not want to see more videos or evidence because they know from the videos shown since the fight, Manny should have got some of those rounds that they gave to Floyd. So they want to hide it under the rug. Floyd fans do not analyze the round(s). They just say that Floyd won the round with little explanation. They think "slow-mo", "replays", "gifs" are all some kind of "trickery" .... why? because they cannot counter with what Floyd did in the round being analyzed because Floyd did less in comparison.

Just admit Manny let you down. They're people who punch other people in the head for money, not demigods. Hell, I thought Manny had a chance against a 38 year old fraud coward who was scared of him.

You keep saying all Manny needs is two more rounds on two scorecards to get a draw not acknowledging that those same judges who scored it 8 to 4 had it even wider upon seeing it a second time. I'm sure these guys know boxing better than you do. Go cry about it somewhere else. Whats done is done and Manny got sent home with a loss, an arm sling, and 32 lawsuits.

Also, Ref aided Floyd's game plan. Foul then break them up and reset. Get the occasional, "don't do that Floyd". Floyd nods in agreement or whatever and then does it again. If the ref did his job, Floyd wouldn't be allowed to do the fouls and Manny would have had a field day.
