A lot of people, including diehard fans, certainly won't pay for another manny fight. Will you?

... This I can tell you: I know my wife for 30 years now; she never watched a boxing fight (not even recorded). On Saturday the woke up at half past six, made some coffee and joined me for the live Floyd-Pac fight... I don't know if she understood or enjoyed something, even if I tried to explain her how it works...

Pacquaio gained nothing other than a loss of respect for his constant excuses post fight.
Now just sit back and let Floyd make another $200 million off these tools for another easy fight. He's earned that right.

But they still have to agree to terms. Floyd will want a larger share of a smaller pot. Arum will too. If Floyd gets everything he wants, it will happen.
But I think they discuss it and it dies at the negotiating table.

1st floyd will finish his cbs/sho contract. 49-0
then 50-0 pac rematch.
by then they'll sell pac supporters on the pac injury bs.
floyd supporters will be sold the "LEAVE NO DOUBT", "ENOUGH WITH THE EXCUSES" line.

The rematch talk is to make Manny fans feel better. Arum's selling them the pipedream and Floyd is happy to play along. When you have them saying they deserve more than 40%, you have to be smart enough to realize this isn't happening.

And one thing Floyd, Al and Bob know is that 95% of ppv buyers are casuals who really don't follow boxing outside of 1 or 2 fighters. The "injury" is an easy concept for a casual fan to grasp and give them enough hope to pay for this mismatch again.

35% vs floyd will still be more than any other fight.
they'll sell "CONTROVERSY" , "REVENGE".
media will eat it up. fans will eat it up.
