So How does Floyd explain fighting Khan in April/June? I'm going to laugh at the Mayweather minions trying to justify it...

Mayweather is the A side/cash cow but gets moved off his dates?

No way Showtime goes up against Cotto vs Canelo. Nobody really wins. Floyd against anybody not named Manny would only do 250,000 while Cotto-Canelo would get 500-750k.

I think Oscar only backs off if Floyd fights Manny. And as much as I want to be hopeful. History proves the most likely scenario we get Canelo vs Cotto on the may date while Floyd fights Khan or Danny in April or late May/June.
Agreed. I similarly thought that it could be a ploy to pressure Floyd into fighting Manny. I wouldn't put it past Oscar and Bob to scheme together this way to force Floyd's hand. Only delusional Floydiots will willfully deny that Manny is Floyd's ONLY option to bump the Mexican from his own cultural dates. If Floyd ducks Manny and tries to fight anyone else head to head with the Cotto/Alvarez card, especially after the present public clamor for the fight ever since Manny did what Floyd said he has to do first (in taking care of business with Algieri), the public's ridicule, anger and BOYCOTTS of Floyd's remaining days in the sport would be EPICally humiliating for him and his minions.

The time is NOW, Floyd. Make ALL the fans who are currently clamoring for this fight HAPPY, not just your cult of delusional fluffers who'll parrot anything you say about not making the fight.

No it wouldn't. Nothing will negate Mayweather taking Canelo to school.

good, buck that coward down so what it aint against cotto, it be on regular HBO who has better promotion and will be free for subscribers, hurt mayweather numbers why not. the more you put the squeeze on him the more it will force their hand either retire your coward ass with your fake ass record or fight the ATG TBE FOTD 8 TIME WORLD CHAMPION IN AS MANY WEIGHT CLASSES Manny Pacman Pacquaio.

not if canelo hit the 1mil make while floyd does under it. that will pretty much even up the score. LOL

i agreed. i think even if canelo fought someone else instead of cotto im pretty sure most mexicans will support that over a floyd fight especially if its on a mexican celebration day. unless floyd goes and rematch marquez or something LOL.

... Take this: In case he who fights pillow-gloved opponents only would steal Cotto, Canelo will fight Pac on May, the 2nd...

It's important to him because he sees himself as "the money", the biggest draw. It's wrapped up with his fragile ego.
He really doesn't wanna show weakness haha but even if he wanted to I don't think Showtime more importantly would allow it since they need the max profit from any Floyd fight just to maybe even break even. It's really Manny or bust on that day. It would be cool if Oscar was bluffing to get the Manny fight but if Floyd doesn't fight him I think Oscar is dead ass seriously about taking that date because any logical human being would rather see that fight then Floyd vs not Manny Pacqiauo.

Whar are you basing Floyd doing 250 K on?

Floyd is never getting a number that low. Not while he is undefeated anyway.

                      How does history prove that?

I don't see Floyd moving off those dates regardless.
