    Mayweather(c) vs Khan
    Gonzalez(c) vs Mares 2
a Chavez Jr fight (depending on how the Froch fight goes)
a Mickey Bey title defense (depending on how the Froch card goes)

The casual fan/gambler gets drawn in the by spectacle of a Mayweather fight, the Brits come over to see Amir Khan, fight fans get a matchup that seems to guarantee action (Gonzalez-Mares 2), and the Mexican fan gets to root for one of their country's biggest stars, all in the fight capital of the world.

Canelo vs Cotto is a good fight, no doubt about it, but what is the event going to look like, especially if Haymon pulls rank? fight fans expect more than one fight.

Well, many Spanish artists would go to the canelo- cotto fight, so? They are not real fans anyway. It is funny that US companies cater Latinos and have two foreign fighters in a major card, in the US hahaha and guess what, Corona, Tecate, Tequila Cuervo, etc will be there. Notice the word MEXICO on the ring ropes, dummy. Does it say Michigan?? hahaha. Floyd looks ******ed trying to use Mexican colors by the way. Oh, and for the Spanish only speaking Latinos, there will be a broadcast in Spanish in the US, Mexico and PR were millions of viewers will be watching. Mexico sends reporters to Vegas, how about Michigan?? hahaha
Ducking the point. When HBO does the "look who came out to see the fight" bit for Cotto-Alvarez at AT&T Stadium, what stars do you expect will be in the building knowing that a Mayweather event is happening in Vegas on the same day?

Rosie Perez is a ride-or-die for Cotto and Mark Wahlberg is a boxing enthusiast, so I expect them to be there, but that's all that's coming to mind. Mario Lopez seems close enough with Oscar to head out to TX out of sheer loyalty. Seeing former boxers in TX would be a nice touch too.

Still, would Eva Longoria leave California to go watch Canelo-Cotto in Jerryland or head to Vegas to see the spectacle of a Mayweather fight? Doubt their worthiness as a "fan" all you want; Longoria is among the type of folks that would be ready to shell out the $2,000 for the ringside seats in Vegas.

The ring says MEXICO because the Mexican government is sponsoring a push to have more tourist travel to Mexico; nothing more and nothing less. It could just as easily have VEGAS on the banners, lol.

Isn't the reason why Floyd fights in May is to get the most potential PPV buys? So even if Floyd and Showtime is confident fighting in the same date, why would they even do that when they know they're obviously going to lose some viewers? Doesn't make sense to me at all.
