Why was Golovkin willing to move up to 168 for Chavez Jr but not for Andre Ward?

Here are some other facts you forgot to mention:

Golovkin- when first asked about Ward said he had unfinished business (no problem from me, i understand that)

Then goes on to say he is willing to fight ANYONE from 154-168 (ok he changed his mind, let's hope he stick by the key word 'anyone')

Negotiates to fight Chavez JR at 168, fight falls through.

When asked about Ward following that he goes back to saying he wants to unify at 160. BACKTRACKKKK
And you keep saying that same thing except this fact simply doesn't change.

GGG has never fought a guy above 160. Ward has fought a light heavyweight, the end.

You really don't see what's the difference between the two?
Out of this I don't think Golovkin is a "duck" but in my eyes he is unproven and overrated and Ward would probably turn him from good boy to school boy (and Kovalev from krusher to air krusher).
Ward has said many times in the past that he plans to go to Light Heavyweight and even Heavyweight. Enough of the lame excuses.

Don't complain that no one wants to fight you when it's clearly not the case. That goes for both Ward and Golovkin.

All these fighters jumping around so much combined with the excessive amount of weight classes is making divisions pointless. Whatever happened to guys moving up/down, fighting a tuneup/gatekeeper or two to test the waters, then taking the big fight. Now it seems like guys just jump weight classes for big fights because it comes in with a bult-in excuse.
GGG's fighting a former WBA/IBF champion. Ward's last opponent was Edwin Rodriguez. Is he better than Geale?

GGG is just a no good ducker!!
He should step up and face Ward unless he is a chicken and a coward, I say we should just all boycott GGG fight with Geale, yeah that will show them

Yes, because he fought Ward that makes you an elite fighter.

Lol before i respond i just want to say i just noticed your joke of a p4p list, after seeing that it's no surprise we are having this debate. Froch above Ward lol what a joke.

What you are doing is manipulating the words to favour your argument.

Andre Ward fought A lightheavyweight AT super-middleweight.

So to rephrase your facts so that people aren't being mislead (which is what you are trying to do):

GGG has never fought above 160, check.

Andre Ward has never fought above 168, check.

Technically they both have fought above those weights.

Bwahaha that's a nice way to put it, he's also fighting Darren Barker's leftovers who has since come back with an amazing victory over the great Garth Wood :/

Yeah i had had a feeling someone would say that, i think you know what i mean obviously GGG might have fought at 161 for a non-title fight early in their careers but i'm talking about for example if the GGG vs Chavez Jr fight went ahead.

A lot of people didn't think Barker won that fight and it prove when Barker decided to go over to Germany and fight Sturm...
Old sturm the guy Geale beat in a great tear up of a fight!
Barker was finished by an old version of Sturm decisively...

Why doesn't GGG move down to 160lbs??
He has plenty of time to do it and do it the healthy/correct way since he isn't active.
