Stevenson's team wanted ANOTHER tune-up. Why? The Kovalev fight was there to be made.

So what. When everything finally came together, the agreement was another simulcast and fight each other afterwards. That's what Kovalev's team is b1tchin' ans suing about. So anything that happened before then is irrelevant.

Fine if he wants to cash out, but don't start going on about legacy next week unless you're gonna try and KO Ward.

He should just fight Ward - if he loses a boring clench off no-ones gonna say he is any worse, but he might be able to catch him and get some revenge. Hes not gonna get hurt fighting Ward so WTF?

He's already lost a boring clench fest. Why would we want to see it again? I certainly don't. Ironically Froch will be moveing on to bigger, better things. His legacy will still be very good with or without a ward match. No matter what Froch says, Ward wants this fight more than Froch does

Yeah, he's avoiding a rematch, but I can't blame him. I would too if I were in his shoes, and can't blame him for chasing the money. He's fought pretty much everyone at this point.

Ward has nothing to prove, Froch does. If Froch were the warrior y'all claim, he'd be beating Ward's door down for a rematch and willing to do it where ever. And let's not act as if Ward were the first American champion that didn't wanna go overseas and potentially get robbed against a local star.

After the first fight between Froch and Groves, Ward said he would be willing to come to the UK to fight Groves, if he got a good offer. But he won't even consider coming over to fight Froch, which would be a much better earner for him. Does that mean Ward is ducking Froch? Nope. The fact is, neither seems particularly keen to face the other, for the time being at least.

He isn't interested right now because:

A. Ward can't even fight because of his legal issues

B. Ward isn't a PPV fighter in America

C. Froch has more lucrative options at the moment

How many times you want me to say it? It doesn't matter what I think. It doesn't matter what you think. As a competitor, especially one who's marketability has been centered around being a warrior, Froch should want the rematch. And not wanting it makes him a bit of a fraud.

Dude, He just literally admitted Ward beat him fair and square. If a man said that, warrior or not, why the hell would you call him a fraud for not fighting him again ??? He's just openely admitted, unlike some fighter, he lost no questions. The fact is

• He's faught him before,
• Ward is not his mandatory,
• Froch is in the driving seat now ironically,
• Ward has contractual issues,
• Ward is chasing the fight more than Froch

If anything, you should be butthurt about Ward for more reasons
