Is your stance really simple though?? Cause you're arguing about Froch ducking Ward and comparing it to other ducks. But the fact is Froch already fought Ward and lost big. and you still can't even say how the fight is worthwhile. You can't because it isn't. Same thing happens again. Even you said as much. So what's the point outside of Ward piggy backing off of what a lesser fighter has done.

Exactly. Which makes this talk of Froch ducking quite laughable. Ward needs to get his **** together first.

I've never said everyone is ducking GGG. People on here actually think I'm a GGG "hater" because I say he hasn't fought anyone and that Sergio took the far more lucrative fight and is clearly not ducking him.

Mayweather and Pacquiao have conveniently avoided each other whilst making good money to fight lesser opponents for years. Both are to blame.

No double standards here. You clearly flip flop depending on the race of the fighters which is quite sad.
Just because you keep saying something doesn't make it true. HBO put together a plan that was gonna have Stevenson and Kovalev fight on a simulcast against lesser fighters to setup a fight between them. And Showtime stepped up and offered Stevenson more money for the tune-up. And even after he beat Dawson. A fight against the Pascal-Bute winner in Canada was gonna be more lucrative for Stevenson than a Kovalev fight. In the current light heavyweight landscape, Stevenson has several more lucrative options than a fight what is seen by many as the biggest threat to him. If HBO had stepped up and matched Showtime's offer for the tune-up. And stepped up and assured that Stevenson was gonna make the same to fight Kovalev as he's gonna get to fight Hopkins and he still jumped ship, you'd have a point. But as of now, you're accusing and criticizing Stevenson for doing the exact same thing you're justifying and applauding Froch for doing.

As things stand right now, it's up to Ward. I think Goosen and HBO are down as long as Ward can abstain from filing another lawsuit to fight at least once this year.

HBO prez said he's giving names, Goosen said he's giving names...but I don't know what's going on behind the scenes. I just know that Names have been offered, Ward said most of them were steps back and after the lawsuit ended, Ward's team said they would continue pursuing it.

What the hell how can anyone say Froch is DUCKING Ward?

            How is that possible when
            A: he's fought Ward before
B: Ward is not even his mandatory right now
            C: Ward has contractual issues
D: Ward is simply not a draw when there is more money elsewhere with fresh opponents
E: Froch just said Ward beat him fair and square he's simply not interested, for Froch to duck ward he will have to have won a bogus decision and then decided not to fight Ward again.

HBO already put them on a simulcast. Don't you remember? Stevenson vs. Bellew and Kovalev vs. Silakh.

Stevenson's team wanted ANOTHER tune-up. Why? The Kovalev fight was there to be made.

How many times you want me to say it? It doesn't matter what I think. It doesn't matter what you think. As a competitor, especially one who's marketability has been centered around being a warrior, Froch should want the rematch. And not wanting it makes him a bit of a fraud.

"To get the Ward loss off my record before I retire would be the best thing to do" - Carl Froch when interviewed TODAY on Skysports.

Fine if he wants to cash out, but don't start going on about legacy next week unless you're gonna try and KO Ward.

He should just fight Ward - if he loses a boring clench off no-ones gonna say he is any worse, but he might be able to catch him and get some revenge. Hes not gonna get hurt fighting Ward so WTF?

The best thing to do does not always mean the most lucrative to do. Froch is not ducking Ward
