What are your thoughts on Michael Watson?
___________
I can't argue with you, what happened, happened and the angle I'm coming from is ifs and buts. Do you look upon Golota-Bowe the same way?
*I was alive then, just not old enough to wipe my arse let alone appreciate such a magnificent fight.
I was at Watson-Eubank 1, Watson-McCallum, Eubank-Malinga, Benn-Jimenez (The one with the riot and the one before McClellan! I will never forgive myself for not going to that) and many others. Was such a fun time. That fight with Jimenez was genuinely frightening.
Watson was awesome, well and truley. He was exceptional. Possibly the best of the 3 in all honesty.

In regards to Bowe-Golota.
I don't see it as the same.
I see those as a fights Golota was winning until his inner Psycopath came out both times and got himself DQ'd.
Froch knocked Taylor out.

Froch has definitely surpassed Calzaghe, but he doesn't come close to Lennox. I would even put Prince Naseem and Hatton over Calzaghe to be honest.

Froch knocked Taylor out.
Alright, a better example would be JCC-Taylor.

Or is it the same Analogy people use when they claim Lennox beat Vitali, he was down on all 3 cards, but they claim he deserved the victory.
ibet you are one of the lennox/dirrell analogy claimers, but that logic is conveniently thrown out the window.
Anyway its irrelevant as froch landed 39 power shots to taylors head in one of the biggest beat downs in 12th round history. His head was rocking back and forth like a rocking horse.
And you mke out 20 seconds not a along time, tell you what let one of your best mates hit you for 20 seconds, or even better replace it with someone like froch and tell me how long you last. Thhose 20 seconds would have been the end of taylors brain case had the ref not correctly stepped in.
There really is some terrible posts tonight.

That said, the same logic applies in both. Both Taylor and Taylor ( ) were stopped and lost the fights. It doesn't matter who was winning and who was losing at the time.

I'm afraid only Brits may understand that...
(And someone like me -- I had English Bulldogs as pets)...
