You have a point on Floyd/Pac but I wonder if you were just as upset when Roy and BHop were being little divas during their prime to fight for a rematch. Especially towards BHop.

Jones was not a diva. Hopkins wanted 50/50 for the rematch and that my man, was totally unjustified.

Roy Jones had taken the world by storm.

BHOP was still hiding out at MW waiting for other WWs to come up and fight him.

Jones had already fought and beaten the P4P#1 fighter in the world.

Hopkins didn't face a champion in his career from 1988-2000.

The only feather in BHOP's cap at that point was a win over Felix Trinidad.

There was no comparison between Jones and BHOP. Just like there is no comparison to between Floyd and Manny.

Floyd has spent the last 14 years fighting #1's and #2's ... beating champions and risking everything against the best of the best.

Manny Pacquiao padded his record with 40 fights, cherry-picked vacant belts, used catchweights to attempt to seem like he was matching Floyd's feats, and targeted his last 6 opponents only once they lost.

Like Roy Jones, Floyd Mayweather has done tons more than the man who is refusing to fight. Their career legacies are light years apart. Jones and Mayweather are the vanguard. BHOP and Pacquiao are boxers who use shady marketing tactics to seem like they are on equal footing with the best instead of just proving it in the ring against the best also known as the #1, 2 & 3 ranked fighters.

I actually came into this thread ready to bash Roach but this interview was actually funny.

Also I would rather see it at 152-154, but if it's at 150lbs it's fine by me. Manny should really be fighting at 135 or 140 so 150 isn't that bad.

One thing I will say is I don't think Martinez will be drained like most claim. He can still make 154 and has never struggled with that weight. If he dedicated himself, e.g. not blowing up between fights, he should be able to make 150 and not look like a zombie.

Again, I've see him in a few fights were he came in 152-153 and looked the same as he has been looking in his recent fights.
