That's true, that's the case with many of these lists.

The thing that confuses me about that is I don't feel Pac has enhanced his legacy that much since 2007.

For me, he was easily a Top 70 fighter back in 2006, what he achieved since then has moved him up to Top 50ish now.

I personally don't see how what he has done since 07 will move him into IBRO's top 25, I really can't see any logical argument for that accept maybe his commerical success. But hey, who knows. Other list's have done it.

he's in the list as one of the many greats, but far from the greatest ever........

pacquiao is great among greats in the all time list yes, but not the top of the list...... no.

Yes P4P he is. And the scary thing is he hasn't even reached his prime yet.

Consider this.. you have posters here who have a hard time putting Roy Fking Jones Jr. in a Top 25 despite the fact:

He was virtually undefeated his first 50 fights and beat all major rivals from 154 - 175

Fought successfully from 154 to HW. Being the first MW to grab a HW belt in over 100 years.

Has wins over TWO truly ATGs and one was undefeated, #2 p4p and undoubtedly in his prime when he embarrassed him.

Pac is not the greatest southpaw of all time.

I have Pac around the top 30 ATG P4P. It would be damn near impossible for him to get into the top 10.

And, if he fights and beats Floyd and by some miracle fights and beats Martinez at 154-160. Then that could move him to the top 15-20 ATG ranking.

He has to be in the top 5 and who knows what he still has to offer in the next 2-4 years? I can see him becoming one of the best to ever lace them up, if not he certainly has to be in the discussion.

i disagree with the part of pac beating floyd and martinez...if pac does beat them there should be no questions where pac should be ranked on those ATG lists...possibly 5th or higher
