Yes, you are right. Inoue fights only guys he can beat because he can beat anyone and everyone near his weight division. But I would say he can't beat Usyk, or even Tyson Fury and you are right he won't dare fight those 2 guys. I guess you don't understand how sillyy your post is.

Goodman was a credible opponent. He can't fight and Inoue has to stay busy. He should not be waiting around for an opponent and it is short notice so no one will take that fight. Crappy fights for his fans but I rather a fighter stay active. Look at the Crawford/Spence rematch that never took place.

This. This all day. Inoue wants to fight. Fighters and trainers - rightfully- hate to waste training camps and all the expenses that are a part of it. Inoue gets basically paid for a spar session, this guy who has boxed in obscurity gets an all time best payday, Everyone else on the card fights, fans get to go to the arena and see a current great destroy someone live or get to watch it with their choice of beverage on their couch if they so choose. Never understood the hate for what is obviously not the fault of the guy looking for the late replacement. Boxers just want to fight.

Goodman is a very good fighter, but he got cold feet. Wise man. Let someone else put their neck under the red & white guillotine.

One thing I will say is that the average boxing fan in Japan is quite casual, as numerous as they are, and the Japan vs Korea angle might be enough to please them, even though as a match up it is total garbage.

Mind boggling that there are "people" in here who are blaming Inoue, instead of that clown Goodman. Fugh that guy. This is the 3rd delay, not the second, by the way.

Another cheap import. Islands have an unfair advantage. The first thing they say is, this is the best we can do. Nobody wants to go there for anything but sushi and geisha.
