We're talking about an alphabet belt, so who cares? Bivol is still the world champion, and the Bivol-Beterbiev III winner can defend the world title against Benavidez later. The WBC belt is irrelevant. -
Sasaki is a typical modern day "contender". He's faced one world class opponent in his entire career, and was stopped. All of his wins are against tomato cans. Why is he even ranked in the top 20?

You can't fight King Kong every time out. Cut Bohachuk some slack. He deserves a keep busy fight.
Now, Omar Trinidad is different. It's past time for him to step up. He belongs in the same category as Albert Bell and Charles Conwell. Flashy record, high ranking, lots of hype, never fights anybody....Leave a comment:

Without doubt, Adames vs Janibek is THE fight at middleweight. Lara just fights bums. Lara has never even fought a top 25 middleweight since moving to 160. Lara is a good fighter still, but to me he is irrelevant at middleweight unless he fights a world class middleweight.
