Time for Jermell Charlo to come out of hiding and fight Tszyu.

Of course. But I also suspect that Hearns' chin was worse. Tszyu fought idiòtically last Saturday, that's why he got hammered. If he works hard on his flaws and fights with less arrogance, he can still achieve something. Still, the next chance - if it comes - will definitely be his last.

I'm not comparing Tszyu with them. That was just a parallelism - this era is definitely not Hagler, Hearns and Barkley's era. This I do know.

Tim better forget about being in a big fight anytime soon. He was just in a big fight, and had his head handed to him summarily (without the customary formalities).
After his precautionary suspension, he should work on perfecting his all around boxing skills, and focus following his corners instructions to the letter in the ring.
This kill or be killed attitude, almost got him killed. We don't know yet just how damaged he was in his last fight.
Upon his return to the ring it should be against some journeymen, before taking on the top rated fighters again.

Not exactly! While your're right in stating that Tszyu didn't get out fought in relation to heart and will, but in terms of professionalism, and skill.
Your wrong in stating that where your brought up has nothing to do with a fighters ability.
In fact it's usually the fighters who are brought up in hard scrabbled streets, and ******s who turn out to be the best fighters, and champions in combat sports.
The fighters who were brought up in well to do neighborhoods/safe cities that are the rare exceptions to the rule. That's not an opinion, that's a well know fact![

Sure, no doubt. But I don’t think skill or ability is part of that. It’s a question of hunger and desperation as you and others said. My point is that Tszyu showed those qualities on Saturday, and Mur showed skill. Not saying that Mur doesn’t have those psychological traits, but let’s just say they weren’t needed here. I saw him under pressure against Culcay, but he always seemed in control to me.

I have no idea what kind of background this guy has. Just because he’s Chechen doesn’t necessarily mean he was raised on raw meat and milk and towed his broken down car behind him as he jogged through snow covered roads to the gym to train, Provodnikov style

I don't understand how Tszyu thought he could overpower Murtazaliev, who was clearly bigger, stronger and better disciplined than him.

Tell that team of yours to move on Tim. They aren't helping you. You need some better advice and training. They're keeping you from progressing. Find someone with a track record that knows boxing.

I know I'm in the minority but.....

I believe Tim can still be a player but not with the team that surrounds him. From top to bottom his entire team acts like they have their own separate agenda and it's working for everyone but Tim. At some point Tim needs to wake up and admit that his team should never have accepted the Fundora fight on short notice, and should have pulled him when he was handicapped.

Tim didn't lose his last fight because of his lack of effort but because Tim's team once again, was expecting the dog, the warrior to compensate for their lack of preparation and a game plan. I can't believe Tim stands for it, as if he's suffering from Stockholm syndrome. If Tim ever expects to be elite he needs an elite team focused on
winning and not riding his coat tails for a pay check.

                  There I said it!

Son, if you get sparked like that in your second good fight, you will not go far in boxing.

Some foos on here trying to have it both ways .If Tim always been trash then this win doesn’t mean much. If this is a great victory then Tim is a great fighter .Make sense ?
