You keep saying Ennis has no control over his own career, which includes making adjustments. Why? Is he a child? ESPN/TR, for example, offered a budget of X amount for the Teo vs Loma fight. That's what they thought was the size of the fight and all they can afford. Promoters at first decides the split...

So what was Ennis' guarantee when he was with Showtime? Why did he choose to stay dormant for most of his contract if he's guaranteed X amount regardless of who he fights? Not every deal is the same....

There are no such stipulations. Guarantees are negotiated for every fight. They vary. It always depends on the risk the promoter is willing to take FOR EVERY FIGHT. Arum made investments on Crawford, thinking it would double, triple his investments eventually. They never did. Bomac and Bud scammed Bob...Last edited by Bullrider; 12-12-2024, 12:10 PM.

No such thing as fixed guarantee brother. Guarantees depend on the size of the fight. Giving fighter A or B $1 million for fighting Rod Salka would bankrupt any boxing business. $1.7 million is no laughing matter. Porter accepted $500K to defend his title against Brook, who accepted $200K. Thurman,...Last edited by Bullrider; 12-12-2024, 10:31 AM.

Of course, Ennis will take this fight. These are his levels. Barrios, Stanionis, Ellis, Villa... He'll get bashed, sure, but he'll brave through it.

Well, he ended up with nothing, ain't it? He's desperate for a unification, yet he won't make any adjustments to get things done. He's good at saying things people around want to hear. Norman is not even a huge threat. Ennie will be struggling to make weight after the Teo fight....

There's nothing there for Ennis. Barrios called him out multiple times when he was with Showtime and nothing happened. What makes you think fight will happen now that he's outside of the PBC premises?

It WILL happen brother. There's no one there for Eddie and Bootsie for their next fight with a bigger brand than Lopez. Ennis wants Barrios desperately, but the wheels are not moving in that direction, justifiably so. He couldn't get Mario when he was still with Showtime, won't make even more sense...

According to Oscar Dela Hoya it's the fighters' who are killing the sport in America.

It's not only Thurman. Where the hell are the Charlo brothers, Spence, Adames, De Los Santos, Leo Santa Cruz, etc.?

I thought no one wants to play with the boogeyman. A 140 guy wants a piece of him.

It's Ennis fault in the Norman talks as well. He failed to offer Bryan 50/50 split. There's no A-side in that fight considering Norman got a legit title, while Ennis' was emailed....

I always thought it's exactly what they've waited this long for after padding his undefeated record. Fight cans all his career, skip mid-level opponents like Kavliauskas, JLo, Alexander, Guerrero, Collazo, Berto, etc. Then go for the jugular win or lose as long as it pays millions of dollars. Turns...

I didn't quite get what Espinoza is saying here, which is echoed by some. How is it not his fault? The guy is almost 30 and is backed by a team led by his own dad. Why do people treat these guys like they are twelve and can't decide on their own? You can't even force a household member to throw the...
