Tim is a hype job and I'm glad that he lost.
he was getting to big for his boots diss' ing the Saudi's an all.

He was defo goner duck Crawford and us fans would never have got that fight.

Now atleast that boy the IBF champs goner fight Crawford for a spectacular pay day, and what a brilliant fight for us fight fans.

    Let's get it 3x undisputed.

Second thoughts scrap that and F'ck the IBF for stripping Crawford of that IBF title back when he was undisputed 147 champ.

I'm sure Crawford feel's the same way to.

Chris Algeri said before the fight he will have to box to beat Murt & he chose to bravely exchange.

He should follow in Parker’s foot steps after losing to Whyte & Joshua. He took a step back & rebuilt himself over a couple of years & he changed his team. Tim should do the same step back & gradually step up the competition. Maybe hire Andy Lee or another trainer who could add something. Parker resurrected his career after hiring Andy Lee.

I thought my statement was fairly clear. Tim is a talented and flawed fighter and he fought in way that made the fight very easy for Murtazaliev.

Also, I don't call any fighter a bum. If they enter that ring, they deserve a level of respect.

He should avoid big fights for awhile, unless he wants to become the new Lamont Peterson for PBC....a guy being brought in to lose for their upper tier fighters

He was mentally gone after that first knockdown, getting up and trying on instinct alone. As others have said, his corner should have stopped it earlier. He was not able to make sense of what was happening and was just hoping for a big shot to land, to get payback.

If you watch Tszyu in his ofher fights, he isn't terrible defensively, he honestly has a good chin and he has a sneaky way of fighting very relaxed and inside himself, and he has always had enough head movement and reflexes to not get hit alot. The Mendoza fight is a good example. Mendoza has real KO power and Tim knew it. He showed waaaay more respect to to Mendoza than he did Mur, because Mur had not fought big names and Tim obviously thought he had beaten better, so he would beat this guy.

Mur obviously knew this, he said in the post fight that they prepared all camp for Tim's weaknesses and he worked on those specific shots. He landed them. Mur was utterly prepared, nothing surprised him.

And Tim got caught in just the right spot and it was over, much like AJ against Ruiz, he was concussed and was not going to recover. I've watched it four time. Tszyu did not know what he was doing for the rest of the fight, he was gone and a shell.

His career going forward at this point IMO rests on a few factors. He has to humble himself and always prepare for the guy in front of him and treat every fight like the guy is a real threat. He has to cater his style and power to his opponent, no just winging it and trying to impose his will. He has to work with people who can hone his defense and increase his ring IQ, who won't just tell him that he is a bad mother. And he needs a corner who knows what to do in a crisis. His corner was awful. He didn't need to take all that damage.

He hasn't taken any other real big damage and he is talented. But he is also 30 and set in his ways.

It will be interesting to see what happens.
You said what I was trying to articulate but you said it much better in a more comprehensive way. I agree 100%.

Lee would be a good choice. He definitely should make a change in his corner and he needs a few fights against modest opposition to implement whatever changes a new corner would want to make.

I know that the Culcay fight was during Ramadan(?) where he was fasting during the day. Even if that did affect him, there were other ho-hum performances against inferior competition that would suggest Bakhram wasn't as much of a threat as he actually was.

Tszyu fights in a come forward style, has power and trades, he has stopped some good fighters. He beat Mendoza pillar to post and gave him a real beating. He is humble in terms of his comments and accepts defeat graciously.

Do you really wonder why Haney doesn't get the support? I think you know why. C'mon. Sheesh.
