There was not even anything close to real negotiations. Zero offers were made from the A side Spence. He was okay with it. Hence, there was nothing for Crawford to turn down. Which was finally confirmed by the PBC rep Tim Smith.

Exactly my point. That's why Crawford ain't getting Spence or Charlo anytime soon. He'll need to sign a multi fight deal to PBC, but that doesnt seem to be happening at the moment. Maybe it will in the future, who knows. It's where Crawford needs to be. But do they want each other? That's the question.

except, what I typed is the exact opposite of what you typed. PBC wants nothing to do with him. signing him now would only prove that they were freezing Bud out. it's two fold as well because letting him run roughshod over there 147 fighters and 154 fighters would just expose how protected those fighters are.

All eyes are on the PBC. get use to it clown

one thing is to be heavy and make the weight, another is to fight at it and more important, to fight people who are comfortable and are pretty good at that weight.

what we should all have been doing was shutting down that nonsense from the jump & clowning any fighter talking that nonsense. Put the pressure on these guys, bruise their egos, instead of jumping on the bandwagon and reinforcing the division amongst other fans. Their job is to fight, strive to be the best & welcome & demand ALL challengers, not just the ones who fight under the same promoter as them.

Bud and TR were no saint by any means but it’s beyond clear they’ve wanted the fight more than Spence & PBC. How soon many forget that it was always Bud calling out Spence - & Spence boasting that he didn’t need to fight Bud.- & then Danny, Thurman & Porter all followed suit & pushed the “wrong side of the street” bs. Not to mention the way PBC used to purposely pretend Bud didn’t even exist, when mentioning champions at WW or potential match ups for Spence.

No doubt this fight has lost some luster. The long wait & Spence’s accident & eye injury have tainted it. As a fan of course I’ll still watch if it ever gets made. But it’s just doesn’t have that same feeling to it anymore, at least for me. Just doesn’t seem like that big of a deal any more.
Do you honestly, rationally think comments from posters discussing the business of boxing empowers promoters to do business a certain way?

I get you’re frustrated but that is just dumb. I think you realize no promoter based their business model on NSB poster comments.

All you’re doing is blaming PBC for something Bob told fans he was going to do- sign Crawford to prevent pbc from controlling 147.

Translation,Bud will continue fighting bums while claiming to be waiting for the big time (as if he wouldn't put up ****** demands v Mell proclaiming himself the A side(& Mell would definitely be the A side,Bud can't draw flies to his sht resume)
