As for Bud potentially moving up, I called that too (if he cant get the WW undisputed fight). Would be a good fight with Cataņo or 'Mell. Id prefer 'Mell cause the press conferences would be a lot of barkin between both fighters and their camps!

I’m talking about fans in general, not just the fans on this small forum. This ideology has spread well beyond this forum. Its brought up in interviews, social media, YouTube & even other fighters now openly saying & using it as an excuse. Hence, the narrative has been given power.

my point was that fans need to stop contributing to the perpetuation of false narratives. Instead of being cheerleaders & supporting bs excuses for why fights can’t happen, collectively we should all be questioning why they can’t happen, on every platform.

PBC already made their excuse that Crawford is not a PPV star and brings no money as if Spence is some superstar like Canelo and does 800k buys himself. Meanwhile they'll sell you Thurman vs a bum and a Charles Martin fight on PPV. CLOWNS

PBC wants nothing to do with him. signing him now would only prove that they were freezing Bud out. it's two fold as well because letting him run roughshod over there 147 fighters and 154 fighters would just expose how protected those fighters are.

We already know it anyway. Crawford's career will never improve unless he can get the divisions best which is at PBC. 154, same deal. PBC have those 2 divisions sewn tight. And if your not with them you either try to be, or your career is gonna suffer. Crawford could do well with wins over Ennis and Ortiz. But until they beat a top name, their still not proven, so that doesn't really work for him either. That's why he isn't making a big thing about Spence anymore, as he knows they'll not come near him. At least with Charlo/Castano, he can force the issue a bit, as he'll get mandatory entitlement. Imo that's why he's mentioning it.

Fans who reinforce the “side of the street” narrative don’t even realize that they’re apart of the problem with boxing. Once you start accepting & spreading those types of ****** arguments to not make fights, you give them power.

what we should all have been doing was shutting down that nonsense from the jump & clowning any fighter talking that nonsense. Put the pressure on these guys, bruise their egos, instead of jumping on the bandwagon and reinforcing the division amongst other fans. Their job is to fight, strive to be the best & welcome & demand ALL challengers, not just the ones who fight under the same promoter as them.

Bud and TR were no saint by any means but it’s beyond clear they’ve wanted the fight more than Spence & PBC. How soon many forget that it was always Bud calling out Spence - & Spence boasting that he didn’t need to fight Bud.- & then Danny, Thurman & Porter all followed suit & pushed the “wrong side of the street” bs. Not to mention the way PBC used to purposely pretend Bud didn’t even exist, when mentioning champions at WW or potential match ups for Spence.

No doubt this fight has lost some luster. The long wait & Spence’s accident & eye injury have tainted it. As a fan of course I’ll still watch if it ever gets made. But it’s just doesn’t have that same feeling to it anymore, at least for me. Just doesn’t seem like that big of a deal any more.

So when Spence said Tim Bradley retired because he didn't want to fight and Tim himself said that Spence was on the wrong side of the street I guess that was PBC fault?

I've posted many articles where Spence said he would fight Bud and if you remember Bud was asked who he wanted to fight and he said Pac. That gets lost in translation.

End of the Day 90% of y'all don't care about boxing just man fans and ANTI-PBC. How many fighters are suing Al or can't wait to leave Al? Who's naming their children after Bob?

Also Wilder/Fury was a done deal before Top rank was involved and top rank tried to weasel it's way out of a contract let's not act like it was easy peasy.

Crawford's options:

Ugas has expressed interest in unifying with Crawford if he beats Spence.

Crawford could stick around for Ennis or Ortiz to claim the mandatory shot at his title.

Crawford could petition to challenge the 154 pound WBO champion since he is the 147 pound WBO titlist.


Crawford's shown no signs of slippage and is on a longer knockout streak than anyone in the weight class. This whole past his prime talk is tiresome.

Canelo is a star, Spence is not. Why did you get upset about that? You should be more upset that they are making excuses already for them not making Spence-Crawford
And I'm not paying a penny for Canelo-Bivol but I'll buy Canelo-GGG III
