    That stoppage was trash.

His dad panicked and pulled the plug too quickly. Porter could clinch all round or get on a bicycle, all of that.

It would be different if he was getting knocked silly like Diego Corrales. His head flying every way but it wasn't. This fight, Porter got caught with a good two shots that he lunged into but it wasn't anything worrying of a boxer at his level.

Spence was always the A side. He has more titles and his numbers on ppv are better. He was always going to be A side. Crawford was forced to take Porter, so we'll see what Crawford does next.

Yeah, the end was inevitable I think, but yeah, s hitty. I'm just saying it MAY have been done like that purposely, but for more than just concern on dad Porter's part.

Fight was over. Stoppage was probably a bit early but only just saved his son from being knocked out. Bud was levels above Porter. The only thing that made the fight interesting was Porter lunging in and being awkward.

                Let's get Ugas/Crawford next.
He was definitely under prepared, but that aint Shawn's fault, Kenny is responsible for preparations so he shoulders at least half the blame.

Why I say he was under prepared?

Well, look who they sparred for example, a super featherweight in Gevonta Davis.

When Porter fought Errol, they sparred David Benevidez and Demetrius Andrade.

Think about it. Compare Andrade and Benevidez to Devonta?

                No comparison at all.

Also, when they fought Spence, they had a plus/minus eight month training camp. They said they had already started training for Errol since even before Manny Pac vs Thurman, but this time around they had way less preparation time.

So if he gonna say Shawn was unprepared, then he should blame himself. I been asking this question of why they aint at least get Jaron Boots Ennis to spar with them, or the same guys they got for Errol.

Nevertheless, Kenny is a piece of shieet!

Cong**** to Crawford coz he did what he was supposed to do.

I understand people would've rather seen Porter go out on his back but Crawford has stopped his last 8 or 9 opponents and tonight wasn't going to be any different, Kenny is not my cup of tea but even If he didn't stop it the ref was getting close to. Either way Porter wasn't going to make it to a decision. You go down twice in a round late the ref isn't going to let it go on much longer all TC had to do was jump on him with a flurry at that point...

Ummm...maybe. Thing is, I don't know what Kenny saw, I do know what I saw and it did not bode well for Porter. If you watch this fight notice that Crawford was off, he was always running into Porter, and really not using his jab to create what he needed to set shots up. Keep in mind that Crawford, like very few fighters can fight moving backwards...

Now... I was watching this entire time and kept wondering when Crawford was going to throw the jab and just back up so Porter would come into the gap and not come in and on top of Crawford... That is exactly what happened when Crawford caught Porter. Porter was fixing to get caught coming in because Crawford made the adjustment.

OK...thought for a second you thought it was a Referee stoppage. Here's how I saw it. Porter did much better than anyone expected (me too), as he did against Spence. But all he really has is a swarming offence (albeit with great conditioning) and against the top tier it's just not enough, but it makes for an exciting fight. Dad knew he played his best cards and was either going to get KO'd or a beating and a loss, and stopped it. I was rooting for Porter just because he was doing better than I expected and really giving it his all, but Crawford by the end was taking full advantage of his weak defence and making him pay. Dad did what he thought was best, and I guess I'd have to agree.
