    Go watch the Porter podcast.

Shawn explained that he only sparred Plant once, and it was not that long, three rounds I think.

But with Andrade and Benevidez, he actually hired them to help him prepare for Errol.
Who was Crawford sparring against though? Sparring isn't going to help that much at this level. These dudes been pro for years and have already seen every style there is to see..Porter did good but he wasn't going to beat TC no matter who he sparred with...

Then you tell me what is his other alternatives in order to get the fights he need at welterweight outside of signing with the PBC. Sadly, this kid appears to lack ambition. He will never get the fights he need by staying with Top Rank and Arum. They are holding him back from attaining and achieving his goals. They have no other welterweights to challenge him.. You know I am right.

I had Porter up by 1 point after 9 rounds but to his credit Crawford closed the show decisively in the 10th.
I don't understand you people. Who looks "good" against Porter? Not enough to be called p4p? How did Canelo look against Plant? How did Spence look against Porter? Hell, how did Floyd look against Maidana 1? It's like you people have something against TC when the fact of the matter is he's stopped his last 9 opponents. I don't know of any boxer who looks good in every single fight...

The father either gets too angry in the corner, or too concerned. They are not able to stay neutral. That was not a stoppage situation. Ken Porter stopped the fight because that's his son. Porter was not on wobbly legs, or stumbling around the ring. He was aware enough to pound the ring, and look straight into the ref's eye while not moving wobbly like a real hurt fighter. This was enough for a father to call off the fight. Which is BS. Porter was robbed of a possible comeback (anything can happen), and Crawford was robbed of a legitimate stoppage that was completely done by him and no aide from anyone else, for example a concerned dad.

Kenny Porter even displayed his bad sportsmanship towards his son in the post fight interview. He was totally unprofessional and his words were filled with emotions. No one agreed with what Kenny Porter said, not even a former fighter in Andre Ward. It's not just about throwing in the towel, it's everything that comes having your dad in your corner.

          Roy Sr with RJJ
          Jack Mosley with Shane Mosley
          Mayweather Sr with Mayweather Jr
          Yoel Judah with Zab Judah
          Angel with DSG
          Lopez Sr with Teo Lopez

These 6 father's were a detriment to their son's corner, despite teaching them to box.

Do not hear it from me, I am just a fan, read what Jack Mosley has to say.

Shawn Porter seems like a very nice guy. He refused to go against his father when asked about the stoppage. He was an adult about it. I am sure whatever he has to say to his father, he will say it behind closed doors. Shawn Porter did not allow his emotions get the best of him.

Ken Porter raised his son well, but unfortunately, he acted like a piece of sh/t himself. Throwing his son under the bus, talking about "lack of preparation". You can tell exactly what Ken Porter was trying to do. He was telling the media that Shawn Porter didn't listen to him and did not prepare like he wanted him to, basically, "don't blame me. I am a great trainer". You can tell that this is Ken saving face, trying to put all the blame on his son. His ego would not allow him to tell the reporter/fans that his son tried his best, trained hard, but we just failed. He made it about Shawn Porter not listening. As if to say "I am a great trainer, I had nothing to do with his".
There are many many father son teams... and many of them are shiat, many of them are great for many years. The same could be said for any team of coaches. And despite their own reasons for being shiat (father and son teams) One of them is not fathers being squeamish about an outcome and throwing in the towel early. I might even be inclined to agree with you that there are some characteristic problems that emerge when fathers manage their kids... but again, throwing in the towel is just not one of them.

Shawn Porter nearly fell on his face as he tried to balance himself, Kenny Porter saved his son ; great stoppage.

And the Squad celebrates another dominant clear victory by TBC. Best in the world 38-0-0, Terence 'BUD' Crawford.

Mama Crawford passed the elite footwork down to her son!

As I expected Crawford who was the better man; Won tonight so I tip my hat to him. However, I have but one request for Crawford and that is to sign with the PBC ASAP in order to clean up this welterweight division by winning the crown; Which is all four of the major title belts at 147.

You are a free agent now so it is up to you to do it. That is if you really want it badly enough. No more excuses. The choice is yours and the ball is in your court now. If you want these big fights that you claim then it is time for you to take your career into your own hands.

Top Rank and Bob Arum has been holding you back for years from securing the fights that will ultimately enhance your overall legacy. This fight was only made because the WBO had mandated it and the PBC had agreed to sign off on it.
Never seen something so pathetic desperate as this post since the Wilder excuses for getting beaten up by Tyson Fury. Crawford is the most overrated p4p hyped fighter of recent memory. This fight exposed him against a semi shot Porter, and was gifted a TKO much the same way Oscar gifted Hopkins with one. Entitlement era of less is more.
