  • Interesting point counterpoint with you and borica. Frankly I'm still thinking this out. There are some interesting issues here. Certainly Haney consented to the match knowing Garcia was out of compliance. Does this extend to the drug test? I mean can team cryin Make the case that Haney knew cryin had...

  • Actually it's probably the beginning of the money making opportunity. People will pay dearly to watch Devin go down in the heap as soon as his chin is tapped. Nothing like a train wreck to get the good folks stirred up....

He does deserve another go, he is a fan favorite. I don't agree about the Usyk-Fury fight. My take would be that theb AJ DD fight was certainly more a spectacle, more spectacular... But I think the Usyk Fury fight was a strategic master class. Again, purely theb opinion of one man with an IQ that keeps...

  • And if I may dovetail here? while Vegas is cool (as in ice cold) with no real cultural vibes, a bit of a cultural tabula rasa, New York City, Brooklyn, is basically a bunch of ******s (in the strict sense of the word, not in a bad way) where guys from all nations automatically have an expat community......

One could even say the Olympic experience regardless of what metal one wins applies to your statement. I certainly think it does....

Tutor yourself for all of our sakes... Joshua was very much like Bruno. Tim Witherspoon would have put a hole in AJ....

  • When I see fighters trained exclusively in places like the Slavic countries then and only them will I decry the place of America concerning boxing. Agree 100% about the melting pot and how it always is a crucible for the upcommers... Nothing has changed indeed!...

  • Personally I have always felt like Brooklyn New York is international territory with regards to boxing. I just don't see national lines, so much as traditions and trainers in places like Vegas, Brooklyn, etc.

For example, one of my favorite fighters was Lennox Lewis and his big leap came...

  • As far as predicting the outcome of this rematch? I guess it's the obvious It could go either way lol. I tend to think fury will prevail. I think his big problem last fight was he gassed one round too soon. If he had one more round in that fight it would have either been a draw or his win I believe....

  • Dan... I followed Wardley coming up, truly felt he was a special talent, with, as you say, a great back story. He has got to get back to what makes him special and it is not coming in like a bloated whale. He has fallen in love with his power and in his last fight with Clark, lost all the wonderful...

  • No... that is not what I am doing at all... Every fighter fights guys who are good. Even when fighters fought fellow ATG's and divisions were stacked, great fighters would fight workmanlike fighters. Your arguing that because Mayweather did likewise, there is some reason why margarito should be included,...

  • These guys were decent fighters they were not special. Fighters who are decent present good competition even to great fighters. I don't know how Ennis at this stage in his career compares to Clottey.

If you look at Clottey's record, he too lost to the marquee level of competition. It's...
