Thanks for making the comment about Brewer. Excellent, I had mentioned that earlier but was ignored. It should also be noted that Byron Mitchell was also barely hanging on to his title, and was picked by most pundits to lose it at any time.

Also Pavlik may not beat Joe, but he's def. beaten better fighters than Kessler ever has. Hell Taylor is better than anyone Kessler BEAT (yes I know he fought Joe, but Joe beat him).

Honestly I don't know. Calzaghe has a good style for Pavlik I think in terms of having a chin and good stamina. But it's def. a lot closer than clowns on here make it to be. I think with more experience Pavlik has a good chance, right now today, I'd put my money on Joe C by his usual workrate decision.

Actually Pavlik has beaten one better fighter. He hasnt beat anyone else worth a ****. The only name which seperates their records is the overrated Taylor.

In terms of skill, I think theres a much bigger gulf in Kessler's favour.

Calzaghe's 'usual workrate decision' is a little misleading is it not? The only fight of his that I can recall him winning purely on workrate is Hopkins, I would say he outboxed Kessler comprehensively, beat Lacy up counterpunching, and in his earlier career the decisions tended to based on 'cleaner, harder, shots'.

Calzaghe is an ASS!! I was there for the Pavlik/Lockett fight and right after Pavlik made Calza...I mean Lockett quit on his knees, Pavlik said while being interviewed by Max Kellerman that he wanted Calzaghe next. And we all cheered because thats what the fans wanted. But now that CalzASSghe signed up to fight Jones, he's talking ****. Like I said before and I'll say it again and again, over-hyped Calzghe and his camp are all a bunches of morons. I really hope that Calzaghe retires after winning or losing to Jones cuz I am tired of talking or hearing about him. I don't think Jones will beat him,he's washed up.
